You know how I know my computer blows? This game lags on it.

But anyway this game is pretty decent so far, nothing too special but good mindless fun. I'm playing as a Pyro to satisfy the pyromaniac in me. I love burning things. Twisted Evil

LMAO. Laughing

I'll give it a shot, though I am quite addicted to RE5 right now.

Laughing

Averages around 70fps but often drops down to 30s, especially in explosions. It's not a big deal as it's not the sort of game where 60fps is needed .. but meh. Oh and I just encountered my first boss! Fuck me that dude is huge ^_^

.... and he's a tough bastard too. Kicked my arse three times now >_<

.... fourth time's a charm! Die you huge robot bastard you!

*sad face* just got motion sickness from GREED... *sigh* Stupid level was trying to simulate heat waves and instead just made me feel dizzy and sick. That's TWO games now that have given me motion sickness. First was "Chaser" an old FPS that had a level set in a ship graveyard, underwater, and the disorientation made me WELL ill :\ Luckily I got passed it, but MAN did I feel ill Sad

This game is quite good! Two things that bother me :
- FPS drops'. My rig ain't no miracle but still... Dragon Age performed much better.
- usable objects are not highlighted by pressing a key (i mean lockers etc.). I know, i know - im a spoiled little brat, bite me! Im just used to this, since Dragon Age i guess (there were names over usable things in DA).

Disabling the v-sync in configuration makes the fps drops a little bit more bearable. At least in my case.

All in all a good game, much better than Space Siege.

btw, anyone was able to play more than 1 level online/lan without ping problems?
Is not my connection nor my friend connection, we can play the first level (before the first elevator), but we always have like 300ms on the same part of the second level.

Nice game, I even like it more than Torchlight. So far I am on Deck 5, and it's possible to actually see what you are shooting at instead of Torchlight where you are blinded by particle effects Smile

Thanks interesting, I didn't get motion sickness from this but Zombie Driver, all it took is 4 min or so for the first mission and I was close to throwing up haha, had to go lie down and never ran that game again. Hopefully they fix that camera, and it's funny cause I played the original GTAs and never got that. I'm guessing it has to be the way the camera sways.

Anyway as for Greed anyone else getting crashes? My game crashes roughly every 30-45 min which makes it kind of annoying. No particular error just a generic windows thing or maybe it is particular I just don't know how to read it. Running on Vista 32bit.

Tried some coop last night with another swede. I guess the netcode is pretty shitty, he was hosting and I had atleast 0.2 seconds of input lag.

Yeah it's similar, but dodging is awfully done...big lag! And long waiting (without upgraded skillz) for the dodge to recharge.
And i remember dodging being the third most important move in Crusader after running and gunning Very Happy

Also, Crusader had security cams and maaaaany secret rooms, ventilation shafts etc.

If you're having bad framerate drops try turning down the setting having to do with particle effects. I put it on medium instead of high and it stopped happening. Everything else is maxed.

i gave this one 12 min of my life. it feels like a diablo clone with guns. i don't like diablo-style gameplay so this already dropped my interest in the game. also, i couldn't figure out how to rotate the view within the time i spent playing the game.

destroy glowing cylinders, wow. how exciting. not. whats that? a sentry robot with mounted razors that shows no visual damage to your character when it connects? geez. it's almost the end of 2009, devs. if this were 2001, then this game would be considered hgih-end snore-fest.
unfortunately, it's 2009 and instead it's considered uber snore-fest.

yet another game to force myself to sit through after sucking the life out of dao and/or saboteur. Very Happy

edit: Just finished re-downloading the other version and noticed that there is no crack.. oh well.
edit2: And it still crash...

Dunge: No crashes here, not one. Using Vit release.

I just finished the 2nd boss (in the toxic graveyard). I have no idea how someone is supposed to kill that thing without cheating. You have nowhere to run, there are toxic pools around, and it basically one shots you. I used a trainer for that fight, and it still took me 5 mins of shooting. LOL.
If there is some sort of trick, please let me know.

Overall, I liked the game early on, but it's beginning to drag. Same basic monsters, just tougher and requiring more damage. My gun is not scaling adequately, the exploding barrels do almost no damage anymore, and even my (maxed out) grenade does very little damage now.

To those who said this game is like diablo in space, are blasphemers. This game is nothing at all like diablo, and is not even close in style, spirit, fun, or playability.

Well, I used the Pyro guy and found the second boss very easy, though I also had to shoot at him for like 5-10 minutes or so to actually kill him. I think, however, it was just easy because of the completely overpowered Energy Split defensive ability, which makes the damage drain energy before shield/hp. Since energy regenerates *really fast*, it almost equals immortality. In fact, I stopped raising both hp and shield after I found out about it. All my points go into energy now.

The game is crashing every time I open up inventory menu in act 2. Making it unplayable.
