Laughed my ass off, was a pretty bad script and everything was kinda pants but still a solid entertainment, great! Classic as they come Bmovie. Loved it!

Some nice dialogue and funny shit but not really up to snuff and I actually cringed a couple of times 
 Spoiler: | That pot scene was weak. I don't see the reason to get such big smoke to emphasize comedic effect and using CGI for it. A big hit will still look big and they could've made them sit closer and he had coughed anyway etc etc. Props for Bateman, though but a little too close to a lot of what he has played in the past |

2012 - 2/10
stupid plot supported by even dumber acting. and while the vfx work is rock solid for the most part, it's simply uninspired. cities getting destroyed, earthquakes and volcano eruptions may have been something special a few years ago, but that stuff simply won't cut it nowadays.
dear mr. emmerich, either go all-out apeshit with the cgi porn like transformers - or give the writing job to someone who actually has a higher IQ than bread.

actually transformers is a perfect example of why restraint is completely fucking necessary when it comes to cgi. 2012 was actually a very nice and easy on the eye example of cgi used in just the right amount.
and plot? its a fucking disaster movie ffs. thats like calling out a kids cartoon for being too simple, or a drama film for not having enough explosions.
acting was perfectly fine too. not oscar worthy, but it was never trying to be. it was just right for what it was and needed to be.

| Spoiler: | Pretty well done by Butler, Jaime Foxx was pretty bad in my opinion. The ending was unavoidable but honestly it was pretty weak. He thinks of everything always ever, but they can move the bomb just like that? |

the hangover - 6.5/10 (has it's moments but nothing special)
burn after reading 8/10 (great movie, pitt really shines in this lol)

The Brothers Bloom - 8/10
Absolutely loved the first half of the movie - quirky, funny, smart and just overall enjoyable. While the second half is also good and has alot of the beforementioned qualitites, it's a bit too broken up and confusing (not that I couldn't follow it all) to be a 9.

also you cant really call it a rip-off because the stories had nothing even slightly in common (unless you count a space ship, but then i suppose sunshine was a bit of an event horizon rip off too, eh? ) they werent the same in any way, they were both just horror sci-fi... theyre all reminiscent of each other in some way or another, because thats the genre.

Haha, Hugh Laurie was good man! To be honest I didn't even know he was in there, so it was a surprise for me. He was a serious character though, he played it well.
Keanu, Keanu... well, you know. He's expressionless most of the time, what you come to expect. But he isn't annoying at all throughout.
He did the action scenes well, and mostly the 8/10 came from the story. It was just dark/evil enough for me.
I hadn't seen a movie of this type in a while so maybe I was a little generous, but still pretty damn good movie. Nothing really stood out as a major flaw to me, nothing really stuck out to me during the movie as like "oh man, that's annoying".

just loved it... it was fuckin hilarious, had some cool action, and was just one massive turtle parody, it was brilliant... such a fucking kickass idea, i really loved it and look forward to a proper dvd release.
if youve ever loved the turtle cartoons, youve gotta see this.

watched the 1080 of terminator salvation directors cut.
fucking hell, first of all, directors cut for this film is a fucking joke. ive never seen such a stupid DC for a film, it actually made it WORSE.
but yeah, otherwise my original opinion of the film hasnt changed really... its still a fun enough ride, just fucking retarded and a poor terminator film.. its like skynet is a scooby-doo villain now or some shit, where it goes out of its way to fuck up as spectacularly as possible every chance it gets, it just hurts to watch at times.
film could have been a lot better if they just woulda removed that woman that cant clean her face properly... she was utterly annoying, and no i dont care she got her tits out in the movie (the fuck was up with that idiotic scene, anyway...), she was utterly terrible, and every scene with her (part from the escape) totally dragged and turned those bits into something youd see in some silly romance movie aimed at teenage girls (*cough*twilight*cough*)
