Very useful, and certainly easier (Or perhaps rather "more user friendly") than the previous methods, time to start a second replay soon on a higher difficulty level and at a different alignment. (Not that it changes much in the overall story but different units and choices will be fun to investigate and use.)

I fucking love this community! Thanks for the pointers VGA, though I discovered I already put the ncfs in the steamapps folder. The error I made was probably that I used the newer ones in JBs patch. Couldn't start the game through steam even after unpacking the last sound-rar, BUT strangely enough it works if I run it with the KingArthur.exe with steam running in offline mode. Sometimes computer stuff makes no fucking sense. And thanks again for your patching JB, mucho appreciated.
And being able to run at my native 1440x900 makes a world of different for the game's look, as I said before, definite buy when released somewhere else than steam.

I must say theres some very impressive spells later on in the game 
It makes for an interesting, if a very lacking, bad graphical clone of Dominions 3.

I didn't mean the graphics were bad, I meant it's a bad graphical clone. So it's a bad clone that is graphical.

Personally I don't give a damn what you'd expect. Theres no magic system in Total War, nor is there people who learn spells and lead armies.

I love Dominions 3. So many hours have been sunk into that game; naturally it isn't a game for people that need to have graphics to get into things. I'm one of those guys that goes from the newest games to text-mode roguelikes in the same day and has fun in both.
To me it feels like Total War and Dominions-light sort of meshed together. I honestly think a Lord of the Rings campaign/mod would work well with this one. Or even a Warhammer Fantasy mod. I like the magic system here, too, some interesting stuff.

i had enough after 5 min into the tutorial. i guess it's just not my type of game. i don't like total war or clone of such games. i thought this was more of rpg than total war. but i'm not interested enough to play on. it takes to much work to manage the camera then move your tiny troops around the battlefield. oh, well, back to playing more of dao.

Samhain armies spawn less frequently and their maximum number is limited
Saved games remain available when renaming profiles
Added autosave to each season
Added "Delete savegame"
Added Quicksave on Campaign map (Hotkey: F5)
Added "disable" checkbox for unit selection voices
Damage by Whirlwind and Pool of Darkness paused during "Pause"
"Difficulty level" influences the experience level of the enemy units
Added missing pictures (for a couple of artifacts and skills)
Fixed game crash bugs
1360x768, 1366x768, 2560x1600 resolutions available
