Sooo i never played the first one, can anyone tell me if this is turn based attacking or can you slash/shoot away to your hearts content? Is there a first person view or just third?

Turn based and third person.
Although visually the combat looks really cool.

the action is not turn based, whatever made u think that? The action is realtime, all attacks take charge up time but u can do whatever u want during a fight, just not shoot and walk at the same time.. also by default the game is paused everytime you encounter an enemy, so that u dont have to rush yourself into the fight but can take your time in choosing your move.. this can be turned off and manually activated by pressing the space bar or whatever key you define.
the game is kind of a mix between third person and rpg imo.. though the controls are mostly optimized for the consoles; u cant strafe for one thing =\ =\
also the models of the players and npc's look kinda lame imo.. like theyre chest is just a straight bag with no relief in it what so ever.. and they walk like they've got a stick up their ass

Well thats the same system the latest final fantasy games use, the only difference being it goes to a combat screen. Final fantasy is defined as turn based isn't it?
Well it's a combination of turn based and real time then, because you certainly cannot slash away to your hearts content.

Anyone who likes RPGs will respect the fighting system, it's the same as any RPG which uses a combat system which is outside of real time, thing in KOTOR is that you can really customize the actions your characters executes and who they attack before combat starts.

Well I personally really enjoyed the combat, especially once you start getting your force powers.
I'm really into the visual aspect of combat, so I hate it when you just slash and don't really see any effect ala morrowind, baldurs gate etc.

None, it's removed in the cracked version.

KOTOR2.EXE is the main executable.

Game is great. Great voice acting, atmosphere, music, and the "feel" of the first Kotor is intact. Good story, maybe the beginning is predictable, but nonetheless the plot is valid. Yes, there are bugs, and if you don't want them you can stop playing games on your Pc and enjoy some Ps2 bullshit in 800x600
Graphics aren't exactly top notch, they just do their work decently, but hey, if you want a linear and boring game to show off last generation eye-candy, play Half-life 2!
Kotor 2 and Rome total war are probably the most solid games out since...err...a lot of time.

hey please tell me that instead of just a heavy cameo apperance I can actually have the assassin droid in my party again?
I'm still in the mine so I don't know if I'll be able to get him or just 'have' to kill him.

If you would have just explained how u like this game, i would have said thanks for the info.
But no you had to run down on other games that have nothing to do with this topic, so now i gotta say STFU Half-Life 2 is a great game, linear or not and you sir is a moron.
Why did u have to do it the hard way?
