My screen frezzes after a couple minutes of gameplay. It's just the screen that freezes, I can hear the game still going on in the background.

Yeah, just tried changing to 1 core. It works, but fuck that, I'm not playing with 17 fps.

try a different core? believe it or not deus ex won't run worth a fuck on core 1, only core 2

Tried a different core. Fps was the same, and it freezed a few seconds after.

Well its like a mix of GTA and Mafia (duh). So far, very Story Driven (lots of dialogues etc). Lots of Cities apparantly (from what i can see in the stats screen anyway). Will play a bit more to get a better impression (about to do some race now in Saarbrücken ^^).

still no fix for the freezes?
im going to wait until de oficial release 8 december, if by that time there isnt a fix, i just buy it for my xbox360

doubt its a broken crack or anyone with it would have issues ...
btw i didn't changed anything besides the resolution. Didn't touch prerendered frames in NV CP or anything.

it's strange that some users can play, some can't. even some ati card users mentioned that for them this game works like a charm. strange indeed.

Some people never learn, really. Next time buy a Nvidia card, and not Ati, it's that simple.

awesome game, i've just finished it. the story wasnt that good though, and sometimes it would lag while the graphics are pretty bad.

+1. I have ati 4870x2 and it sucks, worst purchase i've made i believe.. ATI are really the worst... it happens to work great with this game, though.

I've been playing the game for like 2 hours now, and haven't encountered a single bug/crash/whatever. I'm on a 4850 too, xpsp3, catalyst 9.11 and a lowly athlon x2.
Works and runs flawlesly, not silky smooth perhaps, but smooth enough to play (better then i anticipated actually).
It seems like a gorgeous game, reminds me of Mafia a bit and the soundtrack is mindblowing, state of art quality.

Just chased the main-bad guy through the zeplin..
This game needs more weapons/unlocks. If you could get enough points to call in a carpet bombing run, or artillery, something like Mercenaries; it would hold my interest.
Unlocking the panzershrek just showed me how boring the rest of the game is, if this is my ultimate-ground fire-power.

The "Maximum Pre-Rendered Frames=0" trick allowed my good old Core2Duo E4600 (2,4ghz) to run this game without any stutter.
The only problem I have know is the lack of Anti-Aliasing. I've tried to activate with nHancer, but I only get a slight blurry image and 60% less performance.
BTW, what's tuner.txt? There're a lot of options, but them aren't activated through this file. I've found this four interesting lines:
Antialiasing.EnableSabFSAA=off
Antialiasing.EnableMercsFSAA=off
Antialiasing.SabThreshold= 1.0000
Antialiasing.MercsThreshold= 1.0000

i vote that everyone who cant play gets to beat up someone who can play. obviously looking at the numbers means some people will take 2 or 3 beatings but that ont bother me
