RLD rlz + JBeckham files + RLD 1.0 crack
OR if yu have steam installed
RLD rlz + JBeckham files + put the files in your steamapps folder + launch steam forcing it offline by using
ForceOfflineMode=enable
in your steam.cfg (create if missing)

Didn't Skidrow release the 1.01 update a day or so ago? should work a bit easier with that perhaps?

There was info on Steam forum that there will be new patch coming today or tommorow, fixing, among other things, support for 1440x900 resolution.

Shouldn't be too hard to rip, of course it'll be a direct rip so it's not cracked (Can't do that sort of thing and I couldn't upload it either if I did, ripping files are sorta a gray area but it's just a form of "patch" in a way.)
Will the game have a retail release by the way or is it Steam only for now?

Code: | In one or two days a new patch will be available (fixing bugs and resolution problems, game-balancing, new difficulty level: beginner, etc.)
The official forum for King Arthur will be launched soon. Keep on playing and have a lot fun. |
They're really supporting the game, cool stuff ! I wanna buy it, but not shitty steam. Retail plz ?
I wonder how the game re-balancing will affect already started campaigns ? I hope it gets rid of the enemy leader spamming and ultra-obvious economy cheating.
I mean, if he's left with 1 fucking province and 2-3 huge armies how can he upkeep them AND continuously spam more heroes+units ?
Not to mention the dimension hole or whatever that spams deadly armies from the beyond every couple of turns !

No, "king arthur - the role-playing wargame english.ncf" file is giving me 97.99% complete in CF Toolbox.

Any idea which files it is so I can upload them? Steam only updated the ones I posted as far as I can see, there's the installscript.vdf file of course but that one shouldn't be altered though I never did upload the "redistributable" files which can easily be a few percentages of the game content due to their size. (For this game it's VC++ 2005, DirectX redist and PhysX 9.x something, first being about 3 MB, second being about 95 MB or so and the last one about 46 MB.)

Hmm, I can't find an option to see which files are missing/incorrect in CF Toolbox. I did a validation on both files, the "king arthur basic files.ncf" was 100% but said validation failed, the "king arthur - the role-playing wargame english.ncf" file is 97.99%. Where can I see which files are need to update?

I checked with CF Toolbox myself to compare (After deleting the Install folder containing those redistributables.) and it says 98.05% for the second NCF file, I'll see if I can find the missing data.

97.99%, so something else is missing as well. Is there a tool to "open" the NCF files and see what is missing (like is possible with GCF)?

I'm uploading a newer archive, basically all but the sound files plus the textures, models and ui files.pak archive file this time. (Those files.pak archives are between 300 MB to 1.05 GB, it's possible the UI one has been updated come to think of it.)

I'll just upload it again then, odd but that's how it is.
UI file mentioned above, goes into the Ui folder.

EDIT: Archive uploaded again.

EDIT: Ah so the server load is what is causing it.

Hey VGA, how do you make the game work in offline mode using MiSteam? I get it to show up and everything, and the game is in the correct folder (I think at least) but it just tells me that it isn't ready for offline mode. Any help?
I have the game in:
D:\Steam\steamapps\common\King Arthur - The Role-playing Wargame (The RLD rel is unpacked straight into that folder.)
Maybe put some ncf-files in the steamapps folder, or do I need to do something more with MiSteam?

It's just that their server load is high, you just have to refresh the page until you get in.

The first archive (The 40 MB one.) contains most of the game files as I couldn't seem to find which ones were actually required, if this fails then the second file contains the "file.pak" from the /UI/ folder (Just place it there once it's downloaded.) which is the most likely file to be patched and missing from comparing my CF Toolbox results with Inatans.
All the other data is model, sound and texture related and shouldn't be updated based on the changelog posted earlier.
