in the end of conclusion is a crack or a shit optimization the game ?
for more freeze and for other work whats up :S
i want to buy and play this fucking fun game, but freeze on my my PC
W7x64,HD4850,6GB TRIPLECHANNEL, RAID WHIT 2 CAVIAR BLACK,Q6600 and latest ati driver

fuck.... i really dont know what is going on.
Some people with 4870 and 4870x2 is reporting that the game runs fine...
Maybe only those cards works on this gaME?
Probably its a fucking driver issue, ATI SUCKS

9.11 drivers are 40 mb or so
hotfix dirt 2 is 180 mb or so

Windows 7 X86, keeps freezing on both my PC's, the new one which has an E8400 OC'ed at 4 GHz, 3 gigs and a 1 gig 5770, and the old one(tried it just for kicks), Sempron 3000+, 2 gigs and a HD2600XT. I start the game and it keeps showing me the loading screen, until it freezes. On the new one, it gets fine through the loading screen but freezes on a black screen. Using Catalyst 9.11 on both. Surely it's going to be fixed in a patch. Too bad though, the game seems really nice.

Just played a bit, the game is fucking great.
I have a problem, dont know if its the same problem everyone is talking about.
But the game freezes after 5sec, if you press start menu when you are playing, everything else works 100%.
The screen freezes but the game does not, music keeps playing.
Dont know if its a game BUG, or ATI driver related...
The solution is not to use the pause menu... at least for me. but you need to acess the menu to use perks...
WIN7 32BIT , 9.11 oficial drivers ati (not the hotfix), 4gb ram, quad 9450.
well back to the game!
if someone find a fix... post here

The performance is fucking great aswell 
Playing 1920x1200 everything on max, the game has some beautiful graphics... the rain is beautiful.....
Its a shame the game freezes (just the screen, sound keep playing and you can still press the key you hear the game stil working), everything else is fine at least here!

User error?
Works fine with 186.18 and they are kinda old.

Anyone knows how to change the resolution? The only Video option i can find is gamma..
The game didnt work with 9.10, 9.11 hotfix seems to work. No idea if i copied the cracks to the right directory, i copied the files to the root (the nfo doesnt say)..

Start the launcher program and set the more advanced options from there, then use save them and if you want launch the game from there or use the game EXE, shouldn't matter once they're saved.
EDIT: Crack goes to \Saboteur\ not \Saboteur\FolderName as you say, as far as I would guess it's due to one of those larger (A few MB) archive files containing them but being encrypted and instead of decrypting and re-relasing the packed file reloaded used the individual smaller files, might work better for patches perhaps, don't really know actually but it makes sense as I see it?

you have to use the launcher for video settings. |

I had freezes like everyone else. During game and in the menus(win7 64bit).
Then I reverted back to default settings in CCC(had done a lot of tweaks there) and the game runs fine with no freezes...as of yet.

Try video option before you enter the game. I think there is a videoconfig.exe also .
I use 9.11 hotfix also. First time i go to game menu i have the freeze but after one alt tab game works fine. I have test it like this for 1 hour without a problem.
I have report the problem to ati web site also. Lets hope for a fast fix.

Ok the game now freeze after 1hr and 30m of playing... looks like i have to hit F5 (quick save) from time to time...

can you use pause menu?
Hmm... i have default settings, i only use Overdrive to adjust fan speed nothing more, but i will turn off overdrive to see if its that
EDIT- turned off overdrive... same shit, still freeze if use pause menu...

For those having problems try CAT 9.8, someone here on forum have an ati and is playing without any problems with those drivers.

Seems the freezes for me was because my AA in CCC was set to 16x...oops.
with 8x and less the game works fine.
