I can't seem to get this game to patch to wave 3 using Agbx360 at all. It says "cannot check splitvid due to invalid or uncertain PFI/Video". I tried using the ppf-o-matic to patch the copy but that didn't work either. It pops up saying play DVD. What's wrong out here?

I patched Tekken 6 successfully to wave 3 using Abgx360.

I didnt know you could patch "to" Wave3. What I do is use ppf o matic and patch it "as" a wave3 game because I still use ixtreme 1.4. All W4 games are working fine with ppf patch so far.

This got my Tekken 6 copy patched properly to wave 3, but oddly it's not applying the video patch to this game. I tried using ppf-o-matic3 and patched the iso, but it still didn't work. I can't afford to waste any more verbs now as I'm already short on them. Can you tell me what process did you use exactly for it?

Also is there any way to ascertain in ppf-o-matic that the image has been patched properly to wave2/3?

If you put it that way, Im patching to Wave2. But afaik if your firmware is newer than 1.5 this wont help. Not sure about the Abgx method as this always works for me Smile (dont have an account on xboxiso so cant check the link sorry).

What I do is I run the iso thru Abgx360 just to check the image and then use 1.4 - 1.5 ppf patch. Thats it, worked like a charm for both Wave3 and 4 games and I tried most of them.

If I remember correctly you just need to use the activation disc before inserting a game disc, no need to patch the ISO.

Yippeee! Got it working. I used first patched the image using ppf-o-matic and then re-ran it through Abgx360 and applied all the necessary settings for getting the image converted to wave3. Got that done and burnt the DVD. The game works perfectly now. I didn't want to use the activate.iso thing, so this was better for me.

BTW why does GTA: Lost and the Damned have so much grainy effect on it? It's really annoying and looks washed out.

Tony is much better looking than Lost! Lost is indeed washed out, with or without the noise effect on. Besides that the story is rather boring.

I am stuck with the helicopter flight shooting 3 boats in Tony episode now... So fucking dark man and i hate helicopters.

I died a dozen times until I realized that a health pack is waiting for you on one of the walls of the VIP section. With that additional health-boost it was rather easy.

Just finished Episodes from Liberty City and I was blown away by quality. Both episodes took me 22 hours total (I still have lots of secondary stuff to do).

Lost & Damned. It's usual GTA4 stuff but with new missions, nothing special but it's great as a welcome back expansion. 9/10.

Gay Tony. Now this is where it gets grazy. EVERYTHING about Gay Tony expansion is amazing. The more you play the more missions became action packed movie quality. After completing mission you get summary with how well you performed and you can improve. Base jumping is great, multi vehicle races are great, new weapons are great, tanks, chopper with rockets; it's all great. Story telling and voice overs also top notch. Best game expansion I have ever played 10/10.

Damnit Glottis and _SiN_, you guys are making me want to go try that shit again, one of the first missions was so stupid I put the game down and haven't been back since, the golf cart mission... ugh. I've started that over at least 5 times, and I consider myself pretty fucking good at GTA games. :\

Now you two are all saying all this great stuff, bah! Guess I better go put the damn disc back in and give it another chance.

There's like 29308490284 dudes with guns in the beginning, and you get a pistol with low ammo count.

Then eventually you get in the stupid cart and have to drive away at 2 mph, and the enemy cars just follow you shooting you in the back until you die, or, the last time I played, they just ran me the fuck over... nothing I could do about it!

I am a few hours into the ballad of gay tony and i am really loving it, the missions are fun versatile and 'original', i like being in the clubs and playing the right hand of tony and he is real funny too Smile the music is also very cool and fucking girls you meet at the club just like the dancing, i like this one a lot better than the lost & the damned.
