10. Copy content from C:\Arthur\24402 to C:\Arthur\24401
11 .Copy the crack into C:\Arthur\24401
when you do step 10 there are a number of folders & files that exist in both directories, do you over write or merge
also do you actually need to copy or can you move ?

just cut & paste everything in 24402 to 24401, then go to "C:\Arthur\24401\InstallUtils" and install or update the programs in that folder.

There are some pretty brutal battles in this game, we're not talking Total War "who's gonna start routing first" bullshit.
In this game the fuckers fight to the last, I've played dozens of bitter bloooody battles.
And this game is deep as well, you don't get it at first but then you see all the upgrading/RPG features for the heroes, the research and stronghold options, the feifdom management, the laws and decrees, all the adventures and random quests your heroes go on, then you'll know. No endless campaign map masturbation with diplomats and spies like in Total War.
Even normal units like the archers gain active and passive abilities as they level up, beside their attribute increases that you choose.
This game has not gotten enough attention.

I agree. At first, I was thinking it was a decent game. But once I made it through the initial tutorial stage. . . I was pretty blown away wit the options that suddenly opened up.

The only thing that i don't like is the victory location crap. I mean it's nice that they give various bonuses but having them decide the outcome of the battle is just silly.

Ive still won battles when i didn't control the most victory points.
I like that mechanic of the game personally.

Personally I kind of like that mechanic. It keeps the battles from just becoming (the honestly quite boring) races for good terrain. Maps could have been a bit bigger though, as it stands it's definetely hard to actually have the time to do much more than finding a non horrible location to meet the opposing force. I guess you could sacrifice a unit or two to tie up the enemy while the main army sets up an ambush or something around a victory location, but I have such a hard time sacrificing units in games like these! And yeah, even though they are glass cannons archers seem a little OP as others already said. With my archers the encounter with giants and wargs indeed was a joke. I think I lost TWO soldiers in the whole battle! I'm not even sure I wanna know what higher tier archers can do. Anyway, this sure is one awesomely underhyped game. Beautiful graphics, complex but mostly sensible gameplay, and from a virtually unknown studio! Awesome!

I was hoping for more of a Dark Omen remake with awesome scripted battles and a nice story. In this one you only need 5 archer units with several heros that can cast the arrow shield and a Sage with all the ridiculous offensive spells and a ton of mana/reduced cooldowns.

So true... Has it even been reviewed by the major gaming sites? They were pretty much piling up to review Empire Total War, but with this everyone is taking their time.

totally terrible, this game have one of worst pathings, if you order 5 squads attack one squad, they all just clump into 1 side of enemy squad.. and instead 50 guys hitting, only 10 at most will, they do not move around automatically, devs said.. flank them youself.. where the problem is ,
its the combat lock.. unit goes into combat lock, then you can disengage , the problem is.. the second unit touches unit it will go into lock.. then you disengage and try to move around, and you end up making huge circle , cuz movement is so bad and slow , and for the love of god you will touch enemy unit it wills start all over again
in fortification.. one unit can block the way completely. and then ur totally stuck.. you cant go around you cant disengage, as there is not enough space for unit properly move backwards.. for example in streets.. which is what all fortification battle is about..
so you stuck with 10 squads blocked by one super tank.. and archers raining hell on you..
not to mention unit generally get stuck and cant move for no reason ..
combat system itself is totally terrible, if ur total war fanboy, like me.. and like such games like total war, civilization and many similar..
and if you got bored when every turn in totall war you had to fight 5 battles,
just wait till you start getting them here.. they are terrible, boring and beyond silly..
this game gets too much praise it shouldnt get.. combat is flawed.. and its core game component..

There is no DVD version. But what is the problem?
I used the Reloaded release (rld-karp), used their installer and finally applied the JB patch. Installation gave the "Error, buy the game", but it's a joke.

maybe your overclock is not as solid as you think
ram issues are very easy to spot when winr rar fucks up, installer extractions fuck up, and many other memory handling tasks

I just installed the game along with Skidrow's Update 1 successfully. Everything is fine until it starts to load the first level under New Campaign (right after the intro video) at which point I get tossed back to desktop with a launcher.exe crash.
Running Win7x64
Anyone else able to run Skidrow's Update 1 successfully?
Edit - Individual scenario battles load fine, but the campaign always crashes before loading in. Strange stuff...
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.
