I thought it died online because Ubisoft waited so long (around 3 months) with their dedicated server tool.

Did they announce an SDK? I don't think so. Just look at their track history; SC fans have been waiting for an editor for years - and there won't be anything of such magnitude coming from Ubisoft, ever. I guarantee you that.

Does anybody still play this game? the multiplayer is still amazing I think there are still dedicated servers up

i still play it every now and then, but in single player only
i never care for MP much in any game
i guess i should try it at some point
active servers still is a bit surprising, but it was pretty damn awesome
the high water mark for the franchise from every angle

It works fine for me, i have it installed on steam and play time to time, great game.
All of you who likes SWAT4, CQB Games, and sims, go for it, 5€ on steam.

SWAT4 doesnt allow you to play at 1920x1080, i was playing yesterday on coop ^^
RS moves fine for me at 1920x1080
