The worse thing to me is that the guns have no feeling at all...

The rest is acceptable!

Sorry for sounding dumb but are there any other differences other than upgraded graphics of this one compared to the old Serious Sam released years ago, like new levels, new enmays and new weapons and stuff or is everything just the same apart from the enhanced graphics???

Thank you for responding.

Some screens have shown those pumpkin head enemies from "Second Encounter" in various levels from "First Encounter" so some smaller tweaks have probably been done, might only go for higher difficulty levels though.

Also uses ragdoll physics (Havok?) and pain skins for the various enemies to show how damaged they are (Other than the crosshair indicator.) now but other than that it's pretty much the first game with a engine overhaul. Smile

Odd, Fail.dat isn't part of the actual game content (Probably related to something else? their installer perhaps?)

Actually the game only has the EXE, one DLL and a data file for the content, one for the latest patch (All_112773.gro) and one for the shader cache with some settings file for the preset graphical, CPU and texture settings.

EDIT: They kept the "fans" or what they should be called. Very Happy

Game installed fine and works fine. Looks pretty, gore and blood is back again, no more of that poof poof fairy stuff in Serious Sam 2. Multiplayer component doesn't work at all, requires Steam.

Seems that low FPS when viewing Netrisca is a widespread issue.

Game runs ok, but seems not a good as it could be frame wise at times...

i saw this in the console running or writing or trying to write all the time, prob due to not being on steam. but might be hampering performance?

From the looks of it it tries to add your game score to the leaderboards but fails, shouldn't affect anything.

Does it affect only me? There's a steam_api file in the crack directory. Where is it supposed to be put in? Main steam folder?

Enjoying this game just as much as I enjoyed the original Serious Sam Very Happy
His comments are awesome the first time you run into the kamikaze mobs!

Only 1 problem, my key bindings and mouse sensitivity keep resetting each time i start up the game.
