Finally completed the game. Not so long, but found that ending is epic. Had quite good fun playing this game. cheers

So can multi be played with pirate copy, can't get it to work.

MP still works but since the game has been patched its very hard to get a match going... its not all that great anyway.

it worked for 2 days for me, but now it doens't even seems to try to find players

How do you know when it doesn't work, for me it just says searching... and I lose patience after 30 seconds when it doesn't find anybody

awesome game! i just beat it in about 4 hours (or 0:04:11:34:00 in the stats screen). the graphic is top notch. i'm not sure about the story since i skipped all the cutscenes. i like how the areas are different. the things you can do makes it fresh. i liked the snow mobile sequence, terrorist sequence, and ice climbing. i don't think i've ever ice climbed in a fps game before. totally, rad.
i might play again to collect the different intel (only got 3/45 for 86% campaign progress) and actually sit through the cinematics. although, i'm not sure if it unlocks anything. can't wait for cod mw 3.

Guys i have a question to ya...
let's say some one will buy me a retail copy in ukraine from 1c (1c version has a territorial activation,which mean i can only activate it there or any ex USSR country)
my question is...if my friend will buy it there and make a new steam account and active the game there (ukraine) then he"ll send me the account info...will i'l be able to play it then?

if you buy a key from onlinekeystore will it work with steam, i do not see where you enter a key in mw2 setup for skidrow release

oh so you just go to add product to steam and enter the key and it will apear in steam games list, whats the cheapest place to buy a key atm that accept paypal

But your key might be banned same as if you buy from g2play-like store.

Someone sent a PM asking about the various updated files, these should be all of them, it's for the English version although I'm a bit unsure how well they work, perhaps with a loader?

What are these .ncf files for? I don't have them in my game directory and my game is up to date English version.

Well.... i fixed my low framerate issue on 4870. I had Win7 x64 from msdnaa, I have installed x86 and voila! Everything uber smooth...
Too bad MP is not working when I have finally can play in normal way... *sigh*

They'll be inside "SteamApps" folder, not the "Common\call of duty modern warfare 2" one.

I dont think so its Russian boxed version key, i orderd only the key i dont need the russian dvd and i activated english version. Gamepood.ee is only for Estonian customers.

you can order only the key, it works on english uncensored version, you don't get ban and it's 15€?
you say it's for estonian only? that mean we won't be able to activate or we'll get ban if we activate it in wester europe?
you are estonian?
