Here is setup:

On bowl, pooping. Give it a good ole push and wham..I lay a nice good one..But then what happens at same time? Nose starts gushing blood onto floor!! Im not at the point when I poop I keep my head up and ready to have tissue handy!!

WTF is wrong with me?A?A?A I had to post this to see if this is just one funny joke on me..or will people be attending my funeral if I dont take this seriously?!?!

Its a nosebleed mate not frigging cancer, some people are prone to nose bleeds when the tiny vessels in the nose are put under pressure. Like having a poo. If you are worried ask your doc but he will prob glare at you for wasting his time.

I would have thought you should see a doctor if it happens regularly. Do you get nosebleeds occasionally anyway? How long does the bleeding last for? You will end up getting piles too if you keep straining! Laughing

Jeezus, how good is that "good ole push"? Laughing

Maybe you just have weak blood vessels? It could be serious because it could have other implications on other parts of your body (you don't want a blood clot, do you? Sad). You should see a doctor to make sure.

This aint your ordinary nose bleed..Its like a flood of blood..But then it stops about after 5-10 minutes.

No, I never get nose bleeds regular except for one major one 2 years ago. It was so bad I almost fainted. Just tons of blood pouring out..All over sink, floor. God I must have lost alot of blood. Then..nothing until now during poop sessions.

. Im in good shape. I cant even remember last time I saw a doctor. I dont go to doctors unless Im dying in pain.

I wont be going to a doc for this..unless ofcourse this happens everythime I poop. Its just a regular push - no straining. My bowel movements are very normal (once daily).

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Dude, if you're not doing some crazy "pushing", it could mean you have weak blood vessels and imagine what could happen if, for example, you are lifting something heavy and you get a bleeding in another part of your body? Why are people so afraid of the doctors? Embarassed

Just so you know, the stories of doctors keeping butcher's knives in their closets and cutting people to pieces, then eating them is only a myth, you shouldn't take it too seriously. Rolling Eyes Laughing

Pff doctors, what can't be cured with vodka and sauna is lethal anyway so no need to go visit one.

Well, I cant find a single thing from Google. So that must mean Ill be OK.

Not afraid of docs, been there plenty of times. However, the costs associated with docs and then the follow-ups with insurance companies to actually tell them you are covered is more painful then seeing the actual doctor. Some bills took up to 1 year to straighten out with the doctor/insurance company.

Also, dont think Docs are God. Just recently, a good friend had an operation and the doctor left a 'butcher kife' inside his stomach and stiched him up with it inside. Now he is bleeding internally. Does that make you feel all warm and cozy about docs still???

Perhaps high blood pressure?

Also stop pushing so hard to poop. You are going to end up with a hernia.

I actually used to have this too a long ago. I suddenly felt like my I had really runny nose and then I tasted blood. I went quickly to bathroom and my nose was bleeding for like 10 minutes. It really felt like I lost half a liter of blood Smile (Blood just stains a lot so it's much less than it actually looks)

Anyway, haven't had that for... 6 years now.

Also a friend of mine used to have nosebleeds, but it got fixed by burning the arteries in the nose Razz

yep well nosebleeds can have many causes
some harmless and some harmful
since we are no doctors and examining you is a bit hard since your firewall blocks my arm coming out of your monitor best to let a pro check it
this is the best advice that has already been given to you above

As far as anyone here knows I'm a doctor, and I can state, unequivocally nonetheless(!!!), that you are suffering from rectal gangrene of the nose. That's rotten snout-ass in docspeek.

Seriously though.. see a doc. If it's too much of a hassle now, consider moving to a country where seeing a doc is easy as π.

I dont see nothing related to nose bleeding while pooping.
I would move to Europe in a heartbeat (or Canada)..but Wife will never budge. I can always drop the wife then.

Whatever. I was just on my 2nd story roof cleaning out the gutters. No nose bleed. Just gotta watch out when I sit on the bowl next time. I hate when I get blood droplets all over my Palm Centro screen!

go to a doctor 9/10 he can fix it by burning the small vessel inside your nose. Mostly it is 1 small vessel that is too much to the surface. They can burn it away in 2 secs..

a little burning noise, 2 days of discomfort and you are done. I knew a guy who had nosebleeds everytime he sneezed, they did the burning thingie in his nose and never had a problem afterwards.

He's got high blood pressure. Nose is most prone to bleedings in case of high blood pressure.
