The men that stare at goats - 4.5/10
Was rubbish, which is a shame as I had high hopes.

13beloved (aka; 13 Game of Death)
I wouldn't even know where to start describing this. It was like District 9 meets SAW, tremendously powerful with underlying moral implications and trends - spiced with some spectacular special effects and gore. The film itself was absolutely spectacular, so well made and acted flawlessly ........ and an ending I just did NOT see coming. Not ever.
9.5/10. Earned that with distinction.

Moon - 9 / 10
Magnificent with a brilliant acting. Watched it twice already, R5(English) and 720p. "I want to go home" scene is soo sad and touching
Pandorum - 7 / 10
As I expected movie to be very bad, I decided to skip waiting for proper English release and just watched R5(dubbed Russian 5.1). The movie turned out to be a pleasant surprise, a spiritual successor to Event Horizont so to say, but Event Horizont still remains the king
I liked the first part of movie the most, as it was dark and slow paced, reminded me of Dead Space game
Definitely will watch it again when English HD is released.
Surrogates / R5(dubbed Russian 5.1) - 5 / 10
Meh... nothing special, typical run-of-the-mill sci-fi flick. Only thanks to Radha Mitchell and Bruce Willis movie was watchable.
Hardware (1990) / IMDB Link / 720p - 3 / 10
This must be the worst trash genre movie I have ever seen, even for trash movie the acting is shit, hell there is no acting at all, story-driven porn have much better acting than this one. I tried to force myself to watch it till the end, but couldn't.
The only good in this movie are - slow pacing, visual effects, obligatory for 90s movies naked chick and fuck scenes.

Yeah, I watched 9 in 720p and seeing anything later was agonizing

someone suggested hellraiser 5 a while back, so i watched it... enjoyed it. some bits were a bit off or a bit stupid, but overall good enough for me to keep
6/10
also rewatched gi joe in the hopes that a second watch might make it grow on me. it didnt. the first sommers movie that i really dont like - its not HORRIBLE on the same scale of, say, the spirit, but far below what i was hoping for.
still, id love to see a sequel. now that theyve gotten the stupid character intros out of the way, maybe they could settle in for a fun full on movie.. heres hoping gi joe 2 isnt a GI JOkE. ha. see what i did there?

Damn you! Damn you to hell WhiteMidget! You interchange those ratings now! Well atleast you like Event Horizon so you're not a total sci-fi heretic. |
