In the first place, this is a iXtreme bug. My old console has a first gen iXtreme and it still loads everything. This bug was suppose to be resolved on the 1.61, but appears we'll need to open our box again in the next weeks.


So stealth is a bug now... Laughing

Wave 5 works without activation disk on 1.61, so yes, It can see the future. It's magic!!! Or a miracle?? Who knows. Embarassed

X1 I played the pc demo and liked it alot but xbox is a little clunkier on the controls this time around than the first one imo. The bots AI on normal is absolutely retarded too and will leave you high and dry on more than one occassion. If your going to play this one make sure to play with friends and not bots and then it will be fun.

Heh i died quite alot since i was messing around with the katana and chainsaw Very Happy (chainsaw got fuel so u can run around like leatherface all the time Sad also when u switch to it u have to start it first).
Well its sad that it looks so bad compared to the pc version and Solo is well nothing compared to the mp Sad But i have to wait 1 more week or so till i can grab the uncut version of l4d2, so i can at least look at the new maps ^^ (also i hope a buddy comes over to play coop).
What also sucks u cant test versus, scavenge and realism without live.... if at least realism would work Sad

About wave 5 well it did install an update but worked fine with the activation disc.

it's just the rar sizes, otherwise it would have been nuked for "not working" Wink

i tried the p2p version which afaik was the source for this rls and it's working just fine

OK.. so most of us know how to get this to work on our old firmware right? Someone in an earlier page on this post mentioned that there is another xbox dashboard update.. 8599?? If you use a USB Key and update your dashboard to 8599.. and then make sure L4D2 is wave 3 patched, you should be able to update your console without getting the dirty disc error. So.. my question is.. does anyone have a link to the 8599 update yet, if it even exists?? This should solve the problems with the whole 'wave 5' thing...

Please post a link to xbox live dashboard 8599!!!

For example this has 5 campaigns instead of 3. And they are more varied also. Played thru most of them tonight and they are all good. Maybe a bit disapointed in the mall.

But yeah the game shines on mp especially of course. Remember playing l4d1 and fighting really hard to get on helicopter at the end of one chapter. Finally made it, but one guy (think it was Sin from the forum) when copter was just about to fly away and he was by the door to it a toung grabbed him and pulled him away. Watching down and seeing him getting eaten by tons of zombies while flying off wasqwuite a sight. Very Happy

I have patched this to wave 2, but how is it possible that the microsoft dashbord update is still working when I put this disc inside the xbox360?

I thought by patching the games to another wave the update on the disc is not on the disc anymore. Am I correct?
