This is a trick by Microsoft. They release this one so the EU comission will be happy. But as usual they will release the normal versions of all OS:es.
i read that the comission is displeased with the name branding on this windows edition. Microsoft said they will change the name before the boxes hit the shelves.

Yes, that's because customers would be scared away from it because of the *reduced* word. But that's just MS's tactics. Every reduced edition they sell will be a loss on their side.
i will give it a try, i am using 3rd party codecs for years, so this version could be more useful to me than removing/disabling all crap in the standard versions. maybe i am wrong but i don`t care - gonna shoot my system to mars in the next days
Microsoft Windows XP Professional Reduced Media Edition

Does some one know if it is Corporate version with out activation?
Because I am not sure that their phrase "Use a Product Key in Serials.txt (of course Corp. Keys)" means that there is no activation.
Thanks.
