Yea. NS1 was great fun to play way back a few years ago, and this was one of the first updates that I was looking forward to with the new Half Life engine - but this game has been in development for a ridiculous amount of time and while the screens look "nice", it really just looks like NS1 reskinned.

I hope so. Man, I would pay for Black Mesa. HL1 is my alltime favorite shooter.
I've listened to some podcasts and an voice actor interview podcast at moddb.
Valve seems to help them at some parts and the original voice actors of HL1/2 are
do their part too, for free of course. I'll guess we'll get to download BM around christmas.

Yeah..this was a mod that was supposed to come out so long ago and then turned into a for pay game. I'm glad someone already made the DNF connection, this has been in production for years.

it is a standalone title now. It was a mod. they worked on it as a mod for awhile then switched over to standalone which set everything back.. so its been in the pipes for like 5 years..its really approaching DNF
