I thought it was sarcasm when i read "Big Surprise", but then when i read the article and it said
"1up raises the possibility that this could all be an elaborate hoax, as some of the feats being performed could probably be done by a very skilled player."

Need some help from the Steam moguls...
I get this when I try to run the game. It says 100% complete, checked with CF Toolbox also. I put all the NCF files in SteamApps.

Actually the same happens with SP as well. I just want to know why. Never had this with any Steam game. No I didn't buy it  |

I wouldn't be worried one bit about cheaters. IW/Steam will sort out hacking, thanks to immediate outrage on forums and now even major entertainment sites are covering it too, that will just help cheaters being hunted harder.
Another reason why cheating won't be popular is the way Steam works. If you get VAC banned you are FUCKED. You need to buy a new game, and in MW2 case you will start all your progress from scratch, because you can no longer hack stats like you could in CoD4 and CoD5. So imagine some pathetic tard PAYING for hacks (only paid hacks are decent from what I read), working months on prestige and then getting banned... how many times do you think he'll buy new game and start over fresh before giving up on hacking?

Some people are already looking at how the profile is stored and how to hack it. It seems modifying values during games is the best way to go.

No system will ever prevent hacking. The point of their system is it makes it easier to close down hacks.
