I'm just wondering why I can't access G2play.net anymore, haven't been able to do it for this past week, and I still can't. Help?
I have previously purchased the orange box at G2play and everything went well.

That's interesting actually, cause one of my friends have been saying the same thing to me. I told him it's been going down and up very often lately thanks to MW2 and stuff, but it seems it's down for him 24/7 for some reason, he tried different browsers and shit, nothing gets through. The site is up for me and everyone else I talk to, except my friend. He can access all the other sites he often visits and plays online on all the games he usually plays.
Might be something weird there. o.O Now that I think about it, I think he started complaining about it a week or so ago as well... |
Well, I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one having problems, I have also tried different browsers but no luck. I'm thinking that maybe there is a problem with my hosts file, but I haven't tinkered with anything for a long time...

Quite a simple solution to think of but I didn't think about it until now, have you tried to use a proxy to access the site? Might be IP related. |
Proxy like hidemyass ? Gonna try that now...

there's a mp crack (iw4mpcrk.exe) from Russian, now I can enter the MP, but the crack is not 100% perfect, so I can only play these MP maps by myself, can't search other players.

Huh, you said the game looks like crap not 10 pages ago. 
Anyway, multiplayer is great, few of my friends already bought it, they are old school PC multiplayer FPS gamers and they had not a single complaint. I'm buying as well asap.

Anyone managed to open the console yet? And what about lean?

You can pass commands to the iw4sp.exe, for example like this:

Although this does not work for all commands.
players/settings.cfg gets overwritten by the default settings every time MW2 is run, and making it read-only gives you a 'config error'.
Anyone had any succes so far?

Yes, G2Play should personally hand-type each and every email reply, especially to the ones they get dozens and dozens of on the same subject. I agree.
