You mean like this game feels like a patch with a way over the top campaign slapped on to it?
WaW had an entirely different setting than MW.

It's the same with both MW, to be honest. Marines are used as grunt force ("go there, defend this, kill them") while "foreign" special forces get all the fun (and even mock the "Yankees" about it).  |

Thats not even that much. Cod4 had a much bigger player base. And keep in mind that they do this for marketing purposes. IW is lieing about everything to get their money.

I am still waiting for people to report about the online experience...
meanwhile, Euro price politics rant:
So MW2 is 59.99€ on steam, while it is 44.99€ in retail shops and 42.99€ on amazon. So far so good. If I import it from the UK it's only 32.85€ + ~5€ shipping AND uncut.
How the hell does this work. One would think that steam could do more competitve prices without any packaging or international delivery infrastructure. Bleh.

note tho, cod4 (and 5) don't use steam for online play, so they aren't shown here. BUT cod6 (mw2) forces you to use steam, ergo those numbers above are 100% of the people playing ...

Yes, people saw that this game is a fuck load of fun online that's why so many are already playing. Don't forget that it's not even unlocked for all so that number should jump even higher tomorrow.
