As for NAT settings, try to open up your routers settings
(mostly works by opening up your browser and typing one of those adresses:
http://192.168.1.1
http://192.168.2.1
http://192.168.1.100
http://192.168.2.100
http://192.168.0.1
http://192.168.0.100
http://192.178.0.1
http://192.178.1.1
http://192.178.2.1
http://192.178.1.100
)
And search for your Firewall settings. Then look for the ports that Modern Warefare 2 needs and allow outgoing and ingoing connections for this port and your computer IP. To see your own IP Adress look for your network adapter and it's IP v4 Adress. It should begin with the same values as the routers adress. For example if your router is located at 192.168.1.1 your adress might start from 192.168.1.33.
Most of the times the gateway server specified in your network adapter is your router.

Dude... Suck it... Why the nerd thing?
I just wanted to say that most of us dont know about that problems as most of us are waiting for the cracked version. And i think that cod-forums might help a little more...
