The keys have been released and those leaked disc images with the sim/sid files can be decrypted but the main "binaries" aren't included which is the EXE (SP and MP) plus any .dll files so without them it's not playable.
(It's a bit confusing at the moment.)

So it's just a matter of some Australian who bought the gaame providing these missing files then.

And cracking it Very Happy

Assuming the SP portion of the game is protected (Pretty sure it does) and it authentificates to IW.NET, also, it uses Steamcloud for saving data as far as I know, so let's hope it doesn't depend on it.

The GCF isn't needed.

Start the program, go to settings and update the content description records from internet, load/scan a SIM file and the select all (It'll show GCF but they're not needed.) and unpack the content to where you want it, then scan the second SIM file and repeat the unpack procedure. Smile

That's why you update the content description record, this gives the program a database of updated keys and programs. Smile

How to install:
Place Phoenix.exe together

* With hl.exe|hl2.exe if you have unpacked version of Half-Life (2)
* With SteamApps folder
* With .GCF|.NCF files

It can also read Steam path from registry.

Riot shield was worst idea ever in CS and will be worst idea ever(or sharing a 1st with no dedicated servers) for COD:MW2

Not so sure about that, its not "uber" in Vegas 2 ...so why should it be in cod?

Riot shields in this game are actually pretty ridiculous, you can't get through them with anything pretty much. All you can do is flank, or use explosive options, and shoot at their feet if they are standing!

Make sure your grenades and things land behind or to the side though, as they will also bounce off the front and do nothing.

The good thing about it is the shield guy does not get a gun and shield at the same time, so with a shield out he can only block.

It's funny though, everytime he blocks a volley of shots he gets experience points for it. Wink

Stooz, can others hide behind a dude with a shield? That should prove tactical in some cases. Smile Defusing a bomb with someone to protect you with shield could be good.

the kids just caaaaaaan't wait, as it seems. guys, in some few hours it's Nov. 10th.
now what do you mess around with extracting thingys and looking for cracks and shit??

just sit there and wait. it's that easy.
maybe masturbate to let off some "steam". makes it even easier.

and tomorrow (which appears to be in some hours) we ALL can play it, and if there's no fucking crack, go out and buy that game if you're so keen on playing it!!
i for sure will. cuz it's one of the games i WANT to play, not just want to play, and i think these games are worth buying.

Nice, you can toggle DoF from menu, that's the only thing that I would have needed console for, now I don't.

Actually it does have console support, I've seen some pictures of the manual, it even uses the same key ~.
