To be honest, I've not heard of any of those review sites before.

Ok, I have 6 skill points now....haven't come across a trainer. I'm assuming that is how I spend them? Can anyone shed some light?

Use them on the skills screen.
Hulk to superman: Puny man, who wears his underwear on the outside.

....how? On the "hero" screen I can apply points into strength, dex, int because there is a small arrow to the right of the numbers I can click....
But on the skill screen....not so much.
Much appreciated BTW.

Look for the small arrow on each skill, beware that not all skills can be given points.

Not sure if i really like this game so far, not given it enough of a chance to pass judgment though..
Maxed out it ran fine but was making my 280s fan roar so had to turn it down a little.

first part is really just a big intro (in the valley) , just wait when you can actually morph into a dragon, thats when the real fun starts ^^

There's quite a bit to do there but the main story takes up a bit more place so you need to explore all over the area to find everything.
(I kinda preferred the valley though, Aleroth was a bit of a dissapointment as well due to it's tiny size and very little to actually see or do and the quest there was quite a problem but still doable, heh.)

Aye, it's kinda like Risen in a way. The START of the game is pure epic, amazingly incredible and very lore-rich .. but once you get your Tower, it all just seems to dry up... leaving you with nothing except floating fortress grinds and a smattering of, sometimes lengthy but often not, quests in the Fjords.
Still, the only black mark against the game as far as I'm concerned.

I really love the game .... the dungeons and settings are great... oke we miss some animations and stuff but the game itself is brilliant.
Only one question... how can i get questmarkers ?? Its kinda hard to follow the quests because sometimes i really dont have a clue what to do
Maybe i should stop smoking while playing games

I never completed that one, found the guy and then kept stumbling into him but he just disappeared after two more encounters, explored the entire valley and did everything I could.
(Aside from the bandit related quests as I kinda ruined that chance with a earlier decision.)

yeah same here, second time i actually bought a "new" house and he told me the papers will get delivered or something ^^
Spoiler: | but i guess it was all a big hoax haha. Especially since soon after the whole valley turns into poison soup |

Well I just invested a couple of hours into this game and before I say anything else I should say that I completed Dragon Age before playing Divinity
After experiencing the combat of Dragon age, the graphics, the atmosphere and the incredibly well-done over-all effect, I gotta admit that this game felt like..........crap
I have not gotten to the dragon part, but I doubt I ever will, it's just so hard going from cool combat with great animations and graphics to a game which has animations that would not have looked out of place in Diablo 2, "Swing sword, see numbers float above opponent, keep swinging until it dies" or "click "cast spell", mobs suddenly die and you get xp" or "big blurry white stuff appears and vanish, mob dies"
Get a quest, be told to go somewhere and then run around trying to find it, Questlog no help, map no help, quest description no help, give up and run around trying to find something else, zone into a "Secret Door", game crash.
Maybe the Dragon solves it all, but an RPG like this is 50% combat, 25% lore, 25% graphics and so far I the combat is shit, the graphics are outdated and I have only gotten a taste of the lore, though it has potential, even if very cliche in my regards.
Maybe if I had played it before Dragon Age I would have liked it better, or if I liked the old Divinity game, but this one just looses out entirely.
