Well, that explains it all...vote for the OS you're now actually using,no matter system!

Dual boot option included X3

Also if you vote comment why you chosen it

WTF

Upgrade to 3.11, much fucking better.

[spoiler]I've got 1 x XP, 2 x Vista and 2 x Windows 7 machines.

Windows 7 is the best, in terms of resource management and speed on older / lesser hardware. Great OS!

All yar spoiled kids with yer fancy GUI stuff. I 'emember the good 'ol days of DOS when we don't need any of this shiny window mumbo-jumbo. All I need is the command line to have full control over my machine. Yer young folks don't know nothin' 'bout real computing.

Whats your issue with networking dingo_d?

Due to instability issues I have when using Sun's own network driver for VirtualBox, I disable the option for "VirtualBox Networking" when installing. Networking functions fine without it.

It wouldn't access the "outside" network - I couldn't connect to the net. Also My virtual XP couldn't see the real comp. But I guess I didn't set the proper options, I've just installed it 'on the fly' just to see if it would run, and that it did. I was used to VMware point and click Smile so I just clicked all and voila Very Happy But I just installed it for Guitar Rig4, which doesn't want to run properly on 7 Confused

To get an XP machine to see a Vista/7 one, you need to make sure the XP one has LLTD installed Smile

No really.
I'm actually using Windows 7 though, but a few years ago the above might've been correct.

So what apps DONT work with windows7? I need every single app of mine to work with it orelse its useless. I need FlashFXP to work, I need NewzbinPRO to work, I need HyperSnap to work, I need Winamp to work, I need Stunnel 4.26 to work. I need Remind-me to work. I need WII backup Manager to work.

I have a strong hunch not everything is compatible.

If you say every single app works fine from XP - then I will upgrade.

Everything works. DOS and Windows 3.11 crap don't work with 64-bit versions of Vista and 7. That's about it.
