The game is HEAVY on the talking. Sometimes you will get into dialog trees for no other reason than to find out about the life of a oil saleswoman in Orlais and how she had to flee because she wasn't going to be raped by an Orlesian Chevalier. . .which apperantly is considered a right of the chevaliers. Has zero (so far) impact on the game other than to inform you about the history of the game.

Exactly this is what i want Smile

Was someone successful in isolating the problem with the DLC? Is it encrypted somehow? I'd like to get my hands dirty but I wouldn't know where to start.

For those who may be concerned (PC, physical DVD in France Germany, Poland):
Due to some logistic issues the Standard PC version has been delayed till November 19th for France, Germany and Poland. This does not effect the Collector's Edition or the digital versions, just the retail standard edition

Grrr, i'm getting pretty annoyed - my whole party gets constantly annihilated at redcliffe castle court by a bad-ass looking Ravener - normal - hard... matters not - 2-3 hits and he single handed kills everyone - even my so called tank hero..Not to mention that he is a jedi :lol

I should've gone mage as i planned to - instead i have a warrior which nor deals the 2h high damage, nor he has the attack speed & aoe of dual wield. Yay he has a shield which blocks nothing and adds tiny bit to armor. That's what i get for being hyped watching cg trailers showing baddas shield bashing warden Laughing

I got a question about the coercion skill? Should i take that with my main character, since he's doing all the talking to get all the extra dialog options or can i just bump the skill on one of my party members and it will also work?

Just spitballing: Maybe it has something to do with ctrl+alt+deling the key request during installation?

I'm not able to test it right now

My only complaints are the sometimes washed up textures and the lack of voice from your character, really liked that about Mass Effect makes you feel more real.

I know the Warden's keep and stone prisoner DLC's don't work. But do the other item DLC's work or not?

I bought the game with Warden's keep and stone prisoner DLCs. I want to know if the other item DLCs work so I can install those too.

THNKS

Very nice game, enjoy pretty much all of what I have seen so far. I wont go more into this since people have already covered it, but I would like to point out one nifty thing I "discovered".

If you zoom all the way in, and move your camera down so you are looking up, you will see the roof of the house/cave/etc you are in. I thought that was a nice touch that I havent really noticed in any other CRPG.

The animation of the Giant Spider knocking you down and then going apeshit on your ass is SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET. Very Happy

PS: The most important DLCs are not working. So please stop asking about them. Danke danke. Smile

Well UPS just came with my collectors edition. The case design is really cool. One of those metal cases, with the red dragon logo on the front and a coat of arms on the back. Very snazzy looking. The cloth map was also full color which was nice. Came with some code for Warhammer Online as well as the other codes. I don't play Warhammer so if someone wants the bonus items PM me.

sueil: Since you have the collectors Edition.. Would you mind, after you redeemed your DLC, to report the foldernames and sizes in C:\Users\pewee\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns and C:\Users\pewee\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Offers?

If you don't wanna bother have fun with the game, anyway Very Happy
