Seems the X360 version has been released, guess that means that the localized PC edition won't be that far away.
(One could perhaps even extract some of the data from the x360 disc like Risen.)

Just bought it in my country - Polish subs, english voiceovers... Nice game so far, but I got one problem: on skill/shop screens my mouse cursor is soooo sluggish it's pain in the ass to do anything. Anyone else had this problem? The game itself runs with no problem.

Does the game run smooth with high framerate on max settings for you? I also bought the polish version, and it runs terribly slow (low framerate, stutering) on my pc, which is above recommended settings :/ Not any other game does that.

I know about shadows hitting performance, but... even with shadows on high I get stuttering and low fps (like 20-30 most of the time). I downloaded the russian repack version and guess what... 40-60fps on max ALL of the time. Somwething is definately wrong with polish version (1.0.15.82), at least on my rig. I am pissed.

Strange version numbering, this German release after the 1.02 patch has the number 1.0.13.40, unsure how the developers read it.
Is it patched? I assume it is but just asking as the update did fix a few problems and optimized the game a bit while also enabling more options.

Ripping the files did actually work //EDIT: To a degree, the .dv2 files are packed in a different way but it's not too important. but there's some odd stuff in there, here's the three extra skill videos for example, meteor strike is pretty OK but what's up with the two others being for a trailer?

And that's saying a lot about the present condition of RPGs. Don't get me wrong, it IS good, there are lot of choices & consequences, there'a a strong importance given to dialogues, there's a lot of humor, the tower you get as a stronghold is very well done.
Yet I loathe the hack'n'slash mechanics, the awful combat, the somewhat bland world, the fact that they dramatically simplified the great skill system of its -at least nominal- predecessor (Divine Divinity) and the interactivity with the gameworld -one of the great features of DD, where the interaction was aking to the amazing levels set by Ultima 7- is close to nonexistant.

According to the devs on the main forum, the English version will have the same content as the German patch. They said this over a month ago, so I'm not sure if it's true or not. There's a simple way of checking; post a screenshot of your graphics config page - and I'll tell you ^_^
