Retail, they're not "leaks" per-sè -- they're ripped from people's retail DVDs that stores sold early.

No idea. My guess is that it works the same way the DLC's did for Mass Effect PC. You need a proper CD-Key and what not and it verifies online for the installer before installing. However, you can probably rip the files once they are installed and just copy/paste on non-legit installs to get the DLC's working.

You download them separately via your Bioware account, mentioned briefly in the readme, needs a serial key to verify ownership.

(From the game you can also have it track your progress and upload it along with screens and achievements, also mentioned in the readme and fully configurable from the launcher and in the game so you can disable this.)

I don't think the DLCs are downloadable until launch date anyway, unless someone who has a real version can confirm or deny. Hopefully they show up afterward, I want that optional party member. Supposedly very entertaining.

PC version is better than the XBOX version if for nothing else than the anti-aliasing makes the thing actually bareable to watch. Still, its not going to win any awards for graphics. Also the origins are pretty lengthy and full of backstory, although I'm liking the Human Noble backstory a lot more than the Mage; but I didn't like playing as a Warrior so.

It's still fake though.

Maybe the whole reason why it's taking so long eventhough there is barely any protection is because they want to bypass that shit and enable the DLC to run without a valid key? Who knows.
