I was Lv17 and had no trouble at all. Take out Sledge's lieutenants first, then constantly bombard Sledge's head with attacks --- criticals are KEY in this game.

if anyone did some heavy ini tweaks, apparently there was some daylight savings time bug in the code that's been resettings everyones .ini  lol GO GEARBOX!

Nothing I've noticed, I keep a backup of edited files such as WillowEngine.INI and WillowEngine_.INI, hasn't been reset or anything so far. (I check it pretty often, Winmerge helps with comparing both files.)

had problems with him too, but as sabin said, kill the mates around him, and when it's you and him, there is stairs that leads to grill above red fire or what ever, and at the far edge, there are stairs again, so you can run from side to side and make him run after you , also use your pat (i used the bird alot  and when he shoot's take cover+try to aim to he's head to get critics and you will kill him like nothing. |

It got me  , all my settings in game were reset lol, what a stupid bug. |

Wtf, I thought Krom were gonna be tough to kill but he was the easiest boss to kill that I have seen. I just used my sniper rifle and took him down from far away. Didn't take any damage at all. What a disappointment.. Overall I think the game is way to easy now that I am level 29 and got my 345 damage sniper rifle with 2.7 fire speed. Takes down most with one shot..

You could try doing what JBeckamn posted not long ago in this thread, if you want increased difficulty.
Or just keep at it til playthrough 2.

You can also hex-edit the savegame to start playtrough 2 directly from what I've read, I'm not that good at that sort of thing though.
(Seems editing the savegame is quite easy since there's already a beta version editor available.)

Ok, game continuously freezes. At about 10 minutes of gameplay and the computer just freezes. It's not a crash. Everything plays fine and smooth and then out of the blue it freezes. And most interesting thing is the whole machine becomes unresponsive. I do ctrl+alt+del, alt+tab, alt+f4 and all other combinations i'm aware of and nothing works. Only a hard reboot does well.
I ran more than two hours of linpack testing through linx (64bit, all available system memory) and computer's super stable. Intel burn test (i know it's the same as linx but what the hell...) on xtreem burning also finishes without errors. All other games run normally. Everything's tip-top with them. Only borderlands is a fuckass.
System's 4870 + e8600 on win7 64bit. Also switched back and forth between driver versions (9.8, 9.9, 9.10) and the same shit occurs.
Any ideas . . . . . . . ?

Borderlands deff has its glitches, its gonna be a hardware/game issue or sound issue or something rediculous as usual....
you will just have to suck it up and deal with it unless fixes come along that remedy ur problems im afraid..

well, I just found out yo can successfully run 2 copies of this game on the same computer
Too bad they don't allow modding, this could lead to playing the game mutiple times on 1 computer?

So the whole theres only 4 viewable lines of text on the guns and the rest are pushed out of the text box..someone came up with something to help that, and it only works on equipped guns so far.

Sometimes when i run he game, just after the nvidia logo and that little robot animation, game freezes, ctrl+alt+del etc "doesn't work", but just shut it down blindly 
After u press ctrl+alt+del press del again, then press left arrow on keyboard and then enter and the game will shut down. Works every time for me when this happens

Wait till you get to mothrakk  (Think I was level 22, it being level 25)
I was level 19 hunter too with Sledge, just threw some nades, hit it with couple rockers and bloodwing and then jumped in there shooting with shotgun and what not.
He did end up standing on the doorway a while, when I was at the back of the room, so that clitch? did allow some shooting time. Anyhow, just move a lot, Sledge won't get you if the sledge don't get you

Mothrakk was piece of piss - but only because I spent the entire battle hiding under the canopy of the Car Depot, lmao. I hid while he shot off his flame rockets, then jumped out and plugged him with my AR, before jumping back in again.
Rinse, repeat, win!

First time i was doing this too, hiding + sniper, later in the game, when u fight him second time, i fired in him with car gun, and when he had only a tiny bit of health i killed him with revolver so that i get more exp

It's directly behind Helena Pierce's building. It's a little blue hut with a mailbox outside it.
