there are fixes out to make the game boot without using activate.iso
Basically to make the iso proper!

I think I've got this AGBX360 thing sorted out. Here is my question: I've been using the PPF-O-MATIC to patch Wave 3 down to Wave 2. I noteiced in ABGX, that you can select the Autofix Threshold - can I use this INSTEAD of PPF-O-MATIC, or will I need to bump Wave 4 to Wave 3, and then use the Wave 3 to Wave 2 patch? I have no concerns or worries about being banned on XBL so keep that in mind when correcting my assumption.

If you're making it Wave 3, aren't you meant to load something in the Video and PFI slots?

Then I definitely believe you are meant to have something in the VIDEO and PFI slot. See where it says Patch Video and Patch PFI - Check this link out here, and grab that "pack" they are talking about. It will contain the Video and PFI files you need to load into your image. Then, once it is Wave 3, I guess you can just use PPF-O-Matic to further downgrade it to Wave 2. Make sure you create a backup copy (my Newsbin autounpacks and autodeletes my rar files, so once patched - thats it).

The only ways I know to solve the never ending updating problem (it asks you to update over and over again) is to remove the hard drive and thus the ability to save since you won't be able to create a profile OR to update using the marketplace if your console isn't banned (mine is...).
I guess I'll be waiting for a real release then, hopefully it'll solve this updating crap. |
The game never asked for an update here and the console was banned a few weeks ago so i dont have that update

Hey, if you have the update problem (had it with tekken 6, asked for an update from disc, updated, then I restarted my console and got the "blah blah blah can't update" and a restart/repeat the same thing. ) Try downloading the late september update, installing it on a disk, updating and running the game. Solved it for the tekken, so I thought it could work with the new cod. Won't give link to the place where you can download dashboard updates, not sure if I'm allowed to post it here like that. (It's a forum, not a torrent site.)

Scene release will be a day or two days before 10 th nov.
There is a blackcats release, but it hasn't been verified to be a good rip. Prolly the bad one with patched files injected...

dunno, the only thing i can say is that i have ix fw 1.4 and used ppf patch wave 3 to 2 patch it, like i did with tekken6.

Ok this game is OFF THE HOOK!
I cant get over how damn beautiful this game is... i played some on my spare box and im just flat out impressed how IW tweaked their engine so much since the first MW game..the visuals are breath taking at times also the action is just insanely intense..its one of these games where you dont want to keep playing it because you dont want it to end lol..The atmosphere in MW2 blows away the first game by a huge margin..wow
You guys are in for a treat once you fire this game up on your 360..its totally BAD ASS!!!
