I'm a rogue

That was a really horrible quiz - took them 2 minutes to make it tops. It's all clear-cut warrior/rogue/mage choices - no fun.

Can't believe there's nothing yet Sad

Read up a bit on the companions, and it sucks how there doesn't seem to be any really evil ones. And since the companions can and will abandon you if their 'approval' rating drops low enough, I guess if you play a real evil bastard (like I always do Very Happy), you might have to use the morally neutral ones (dog & the dlc golem companion)... Which are never fun when it comes to banters and their unique quests.

But meh, screw them then if they can't handle true power, no price is too high for being a kickass Blood Mage!

Is there a complete list anywhere? They probably didn't reveal all of them.
While I don't have anything official, there is no doubt in my mind that there will be evil companions as well.
If they didn't, the stuff with party members leaving (was the same in baldur's gate) would make no sense.

No I'm pretty sure all are known atm, I read up on them here: http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Companions

Morrigan is the only one that at a glance seems to have an evil streak, but even she doesn't seem truly evil, more like Viconia from BG2 (you could persuade to have her change her alignment later on if you pursued the romance path).

Can't wait to get Wynne to my party tho - see how far I can push her and hopefully she'll turn hostile. Then it'll be one less goody-two-shoes left in the world. Twisted Evil

I'm guessing Sten is also pretty "evil" based on what I've red so far.

The rest do seem pretty good-natured, but I guess that depends on what someone considers to be good or bad. I mean, for all I know, there are people out there who find overly religious characters evil. Very Happy

It's also possible this game is more like the Witcher, which means noone is clearly good or evil.

I guess we'll find out in a few days; hopefully earlier Razz (though downloading it won't stop me from buying it).

Hmm... the amount of the companions mentioned in the wiki would be enough I guess, so it's possible that there aren't any more, truly evil, characters. That'd be a real shame though...
Still, noone really seems to know wether there are more or not, so until we got confirmation there's still a chance.

ive looked at that dragonage.wikia page and the writing in the quotes from the full game is awful

reads more like fan-fiction done by goth kids rather than writing done by a fantasy writer

some examples

* Alistair: "This is the part where we're shocked to discover, how you've never had a friend your entire life."
* Morrigan: "Friendships are fleeting and have no meaning. Power has meaning."
* Alistair: "Right, very creepy. Forget I asked."

and

* Morrigan: "I see the stories they tell of Grey Warden endurance are not exaggerated..."
* Alistair: "Whoah, whoah! Let's not get out of hand here!"

if that is the best of what they writers have to offer then this game is gonna be in oblivion's league, and that game was worse then hitler

What's wrong with the above quotes, and why do you think that's the best the writers can do? If you're some sort of elitist, the doors of the Codex are always open. Very Happy

Then don't get the game. The rest of the world that chooses not to base our entire judgement on a game off the sample banter of 2 npc's out of dozens (and hundreds of thousands of dialog) will enjoy what other reviewers of the game have already discovered.

I live in Austin, Tx and have a buddy who works at Bioware-Austin. He told me if the PC version does not sell well it could mean Bioware pulling out of the PC genre as far as single player games go.

This post is not aimed to preach against piracy.. I pirate *alot* of games. But I'd hate to lose such a good dev team.. that's all I am saying.

well depends what they mean with profit these days, times are over where devs were happy they got the money back they invested and everything else was a nice extra, now they expect 50% ( pulled random number out of my ass ) profit on their total investment or they dont feel its worth making games anymore. Capitalism at its worst

i wonder why they expect - 100 % return is ok - so 300k copies osld should be enough to cover costs and set 100 % return - if that is thier target - they already did this

almost all preorder companies already sold CE editions and cant restock it in near future also DLC will make additional return ....

so what is the aim of the bioware - making 100 $ for one ?

I dont think it will happen, and game will sell pretty well, myself will of course download game if possible, to play it asap, like most of us, but i have CE version on the way, so our lovely bioware wont loose any money, at least not by me.
