There's a thread on cheat happens (Might be set so only "unlimited" users can see it though unfortuantely.) where stuff is explained on how to edit various attributes, TSearch works pretty well for what I've seen of my test character by editing some things but it's not the best solution, INI editing also works for certain codes but there's not many of them and some won't work at all.

So they are now locking threads as well only to Unlimited Members? They are such losers, lol.

Things have become a bit stricter, I got lifetime unlimited membership for 15$ a few years ago (2006 I believe.) and the forums were a bit more open as well but now the fee is quite a bit higher and they use a longer que system instead of what previously used to be a two week delay from members-only releases to public releases whereas now certain files are qued up to early 2010 already. Smile

The trainers are solid and there's a lot of other info as well but the somewhat closed system can be a bit of a issue.
(Though there are other groups and releases by others so it's not exactly a problem as I see it.)

Perhaps in a way similar to Usenet subscription versus open torrent sites?
(Not really comparable but it's a bit hard to describe.)

That said I use all sorts of sites from DHL to GBW/GCW to Megagames. Very Happy

What's the point in even playing a game like this if you edit it and give yourself everything. Much of the fun is finding new weapons and shit.

which of this will be better for 23 Solider (5/5 Impact):

mod with +8 Team Ammo Regen and +2 Impact Skill

or

mod with +50% Weapon Magazine Size, +1 Impact and +35% Weapon Fire Rate.

Also why when I equip this one with Weapon Magazine Size, magazine from some of SMG before and after have the same amount of Ammo. Weird.

A couple of years ago i made a guide for a game and submitted it. They accepted it and i became a lifetime member.

If i play with some coop, can i then continue from where i played in sp later (alone, before i joined coop game))?

I mean if i join in friends game, can i then later continue my story line, secondary missions etc?

Cuz im now lvl 19 and completed a lot of missions etc and he just stared playing the game

Yes you can, unless you complete your missions while playing with him.

Note that he needs to host the game, being the one behind in progression (if you do, he can't complete his quests you have already done).

The one with the lowest quest progress should always host the game in coop.

We finished our first playthrough about 10 minutes ago. All 4 with lvl36 and 100%.

I found 2 nice sniper rifles with nice damage. But which one is really the better one? I have a really hard time to decide.

But what is more important, a little higher damage or higher fire rate? The first rifle has a little different look that I haven't seen on any riffle before. And it also have a laser sight which is kinda cool. So if I picked one because of the looks I would take the first one Smile

Hmm I've read some topics at the gearbox borderlands forum... there are so many secrets in this game. Like a basement in new haven, shielded bodyparts in dr.zed's hospital at new haven etc.
Can't wait for some DLC to come out.. But i don't think they will release any DLC for the pc Sad

yeah, but how? do we get the dlc for free on the pc? i guess so, because not everyone bought borderlands on steam.

What the hell do I need sniper rifles for? You should see my AR, man - that thing is lethal. Nothing from LV28 (when I found that AR) upto LV36 (when I finished the game) even came close to bothering me. I was taking down bosses in seconds, before they'd even gotten close Laughing
