|
 |
Hi I have bought a PSP 1000 (1004) with fastloader V0.7.
I'm new to the PSP and don't know anything about upgrading flashing and stuff. What do I need to do to play the new games? I got an iso of the gran turismo here and have two memory stick duos with 2 and 4gb.
Thanks

Don't know, where can I check on which version it is? And which CFW should I install and how? Do I have to remove the FastLoader first? (if yes, then how?)
As I said before.. I'm new to all this stuff

fastloader is just an app to load isos, of course it can "coexist" with a CFW...ditch it and upgrade the CFW

how to ditch it
And how do I know for certain that I have a CFW?
When I press select, some special menu opens with different settings like registry hack and stuff... I assume that this should be an indicator for a cfw right?
What do I have to do to get to the newest m33 CFW? (its 5.00m33 right?)

btw. what happens when I try to run a game that does not support my cfw?
for example I'll try to run a game that only works with gen d and I have m33?
BTW m33 or Gen?

ok I installed the 500m33 upgrade... after the restart an error warning popped up that the settings are corrupt and that I should press O to repair this.
After that I had to reselect the language date and time.
Now when I press select the m33 menu pops up and unter settings it says 500m33 so everything should be fine right?
But Gran Turismo(.iso) and GTA Chinatown wars(.cso) both did not start i see their logos, press start, the psp logo pops up and after ~3 seconds it says that this games do not work

You need to have an UMD in your tray. It doesn't matter which, the Demo UMD is just fine. Or any game or movie.
It won't work otherwise.

I managed to run the unpatched games by starting the psp with R and selecting the option to run without umds
And yeah, I want to stay with m33 one because I'd like to play snes games
