This is taken from the forums of the game.

Quote:

System Requirements:

Supported OS: Windows® 98SE/ME/2000/XP (only)
Processor: Pentium® III or AMD Athlon™ 1 GHz (Pentium IV or AMD Athlon 2.5 GHz recommended)
RAM: 256 MB (1 GB recommended)
Video Card: 64 MB DirectX® 9.0c compliant (128 MB recommended) (see supported list*)
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c-compliant sound card (EAX recommended) (PC audio solution containing Dolby® Digital Live required for Dolby Digital audio)
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c or higher (included on disc)
CD-ROM: 8X CD or 4X DVD (16X CD recommended)
Hard Drive Space: 4 GB free (5 GB recommended)
Peripherals: Windows-compatible mouse and keyboard required
Multiplay: Broadband modem, 64 Kbps upload (128 Kbps recommended)

*Supported Video Cards at Time of Release:

ATI Radeon 8500/9000/X series
NVIDIA® GeForce™ 3/4/FX/6 series (GeForce 4 MX not supported)
Laptop models of these cards not supported.

These chipsets are the only ones that will run this game. Additional chipsets may be supported after release. For an up-to-date list of supported chipsets, please visit the FAQ for this game on our support website at: http://support.ubi.com.

NOTICE: This game contains technology intended to prevent copying that may conflict with some CD-RW, DVD-RW, and virtual drives.

NVIDIA® nForce™ or other motherboards/soundcards containing the Dolby® Digital Interactive Content Encoder required for Dolby Digital audio.

Pay attention to the second last paragraph, the NOTICE part, does that not entail the workings of SF3 when attempting to crack it?, what will that do to the subject release of a cracked version?, will there be a 3-5 month delay in release here since the SF3 protection is so hard to crack?

I'm just curious since i have already put money aside for this game and Battlefield 2 when they come out Smile

I doubt it's gonna be SF3. It's Ubisoft. They haven't used that once. That notice is common with most games now. Hell something like that is on the back of my FarCry.

Hehe great news then hahe, i hope you are right but i am still going to buy the game, both for the singleplayer campaign but also for the innovative new kind of multiplayer they talk about.

Same thing was shown in the system requirements for PoP: WW, on the official site, and being Ubisoft, it will be cetrainly Safedisk 4, that's what they use lately.

Well XIII was from Ubisoft and was a real pain in the ass to crack...so lets wait till the game is out to prevent another mass paranoia like Hitman 2 is the end of warez and Hitman Contracts is the end of warez non sense crap.

Dont forget that NHL 2005 and Sims 2 got the "NOTICE: This game contains technology intended to prevent copying that may conflict with some CD-RW, DVD-RW, and virtual drives. " and it wasnt SF3

XIII was released quite fast (except FLT messed up with the crack). NHL 2005 was fast release too, but Sims2.. heh.. how long we wait a proper crack for it? Weeks? Months?

XIII was indeed TAGES and no SF3 that's why FLT cracked it, because TAGES is a older copy protection so hackers know this protection.

POPWW would't work with some v-drives and that game has SD4 so I think this game gets SD4 to.

Someday is a word that are often used in love songs about elves and a guy from vietnam... And those songs are often performed by british artists...

Therefore it have nothing to do with Brothers in Arms Razz

Wtf is wrong with you.........? Not only is the game cheaper for the PC, but buying it for the PC eliminates any form of cracking and the graphics are automatically better than the XBOX version, so i don't see any other reason (unless you're retarded) to buy BIA for the XBOX when you can buy it for the PC, except if you have a POS comp.

Don't worry guys. If it doesn't get cracked in time there will always be a clone you can use together with Starforce Nightmare, hehe Smile. The system requirements don't directly indicate that It's SF3, so it could be a newer version of Securom or Safedisk.

Why are you so afraid of starshit? The starfuck tool just bypasses it, no need to crack or to unplug the drives. The clone version and minimage should be available shortly, and thats it.
