Yeah, seriously... What the flying fuck. It almost starts looking like the silly PSP - PS2 shit Sony was messing with a few years ago. I'm all for added value, but give me something tangible like kickass post-release support, or devs that seem to give a shit. Bioware has been pretty good at this in the past (not brilliant mind you), let's hope the EAxis relationship won't interfere with that. I want a game to play, not all sorts of silly side orders. I'm sure the game will get gushing reviews, but I think I'll wait until some reviewers/forums I trust give their verdict before I buy it.

Have there been any new trailers with actual gameplay in them? Or are they all useless?

There was quite a lot of interviews with gameplay footage in them (developer's walkthroughs and such), there's also quite a bit in many previews and shit. Just look around.

There are a shit ton of gameplay videos out there. Giant Bomb had a 20 minute or so uninterrupted quick look for gods sake that was nothing but gameplay.

A technically the "trailers" do have gameplay in them - I don't think a single one is outside of the game-engine.

That Dragon Age Journeys adventure is now available, shouldn't be too difficult to grab the extra items, I'll see what I can find.

tbh the biggest difference in favor of Witcher i think its graphics...cuz from the gameplay videos i have seen for Dragon Age its the classic RPG old school graphics..nothing new to that...wherease witcher, if im not mistaken, used a totally different approach and has much nicer graphs...

Really well made for a flash game (gfx could be a little better, they are kinda dull with brown color everywhere, but gameplay rocks, feels like a full fledged game).

Nice to see that they've retained the horrible animations. People standing 1½ meter from the enemy, hitting the air and the enemy takes damage, but of course their weapons are magical! so it makes sense.

As I mentioned earlier, there's something wrong with the engine. It doesn't seem that good technically. I'm a graphics whore though, so I have no right to complain.

edit: seems like a great game. Hard to judge based on the combat heavy vids of course.

Might be true, but judging by videos, Dragon Age looks very nice from a design point of view, whereas in my opinion, the Witcher was a little generic from that aspect. But one could speculate back and forth in all eternity, it's pointless to be honest until we either get waaaay more gameplay videos or play it ourselves. ^^ But my money is on Dragon Age being way better than The Witcher because I just can't see a Bioware game being less than Amazing. :>

yep u are right on that..if u dont play the game..but man the witcher 2 vid has got me goin...just like the song:P

Maybe they are going to sell smooth animations as a dlc.

Graphics look better than any recent RPG to me and I can't really complain about animations either; I guess it's a matter of opinions and luckily the eyecandy is bold enough to make it playable for me since I can't really get myself to go through bad-looking games no matter how good the gameplay is.

Isn't this always a problem with click-to-activate type of RPG and RTS games (as opposed to real-time RPG games, like Risen)? It is indeed very annoying, but avoiding it is very hard to achieve, because in the time it takes you to move the mouse to aim and then to move the mouse to activate the spell, attack, etc, the enemy has moved. So if you hit in-place, you won't be able to hit anything. So compromises are made. There is the alternative approach taken by the Dawn of War games, where the two (or more) entities in war are "locked" together for the combat animations, but I don't see it in a game like this.
