That's interesting. Maybe it uses the launcher-activation key for multiplayer authentication?

I think it's without keys, it just points to a .exe to download, but even if it was allowed to post links of software thats not freely avaible on this forum, I wouldn't disclose it either.

I like these guys, I bought Mount & Blade 2 years before it went 'Gold', I'm partial to them Razz.

They have stopped taking applications for their beta, you could have signed up @ hxxp://beta.taleworlds.com/apply.aspx

Many bugs? playable on max settings? number of online armies? its a mix of npcs and players or only players? Do you choose horse/armour on start or start with a knife and a skirt? Laughing

Just got an invite recently.

I've played with 32 people so far... lag was not bad at all. Very playable in fact. Although I did have to lower some graphical settings to stop it from micro-stuttering. Frame rates were fine (as always) but for some reason it had taken to stuttering weirdly. This could be a consequence of the engine upgrades - I don't know, I haven't played the original game in a while.

I've not really delved into multiplayer properly yet, just a couple of team battles... but it's what you'd expect. I mean exactly what you'd expect. The combat, the experience. It feels like I'm playing Mount & Blade online (strange as that might sound). The only obvious problem (ignoring bugs) is the UI is still amateurish. But I'm going to be playing some more of this. It's very promising - the lag isn't perfect, it can decide some peoples fate on the battlefield, so obviously there will be complaints there - but my overall experience was very good.

I've noticed the browser is a bit flaky myself.

Try to click the drop down menu at the top and select Internet (even though it's already pre-selected), then click start search (or something to that effect). That worked for me. Just played a game with around 50 people in and not one hint of lag whatsoever. Amazing really.

with my PC (@3GHz. 4GB ram, Radeon4870/256mb) I'm able to fight ~200 soldiers battle with 20fps, In desktop resolution (1920x1200) with several bigger programs running.

Rest of the pics in the link. The full-reso pic links are broken, but fortunately the thumbnail pics are decently sized as well. Think I'll start playing M&B soon again!

Haven't played in a while, last time i played it was 1.03 i think. Any recommendations for a big must have mod? I like realism.

This any good?

Other suggestions are welcome!

I saw some vid with "expanded native III" or something. It had much gore and i liked it, is it standard now or is it some mod?

Yeah, the building mod is out... Here it is: http://www.mbrepository.com/file.php?id=1003

And yeah, that terrain looks fucking awesome. Can't wait for it to be released. Now all we need is some brilliant character modeller to improve the NPCs. Smile Though that might be nigh impossible since it's so hard keeping good looking (and no, not "beautiful" good looking) characters low poly enough to make big battles possible at a decent framerate. You can always dream though.

have u checked the warband mod video ? the horses and chars have a lot more polys and are great, with this terrain and building mod would be awsome. Smile

Yeah, just looked at some warband videos and that's right, characters are a lot more detailed! Awesome. Even better is that I just got a mail today that I'm in the beta so I can see it first hand. Very Happy Yay for chopping, poking and lancing some other actual humans to death. Twisted Evil

Did you know that 04.12 was a premiere of "Mount & Blade: Ogniem i mieczem" ( "With Fire and Sword," or in Russian: Огнем и мечом) The game was released only in Ukraine, Russia, Sweden, the Czech Republic and Poland. The problem is that there is no crack yet.

PS Is anyone who is able to crack this game?

I saw a Mount & Blade release a while ago on a few open sites, so that's what it was, interesting. Smile
(Unsure if it was cracked though, probably some workaround method or similar though I'm unsure what the protection is.)
