Oh dear. Some people do not feel comfortable flashing their 360's themselves. I've done numerous 360's for friends and their friends albeit for free, but I certainly do not look down upon them or see them as sad for doing so. Get off of your high horse. |
I think its pretty sad to pay someone to flash it for you especially because you are motivating people who are even more sad flashing it for money for something that is meant to be free for everyone. |
What difference does it make if the people who flash charge for the SERVICE? They are carrying out the labour required to get the job done regarldess of whether they created the firmware or not.

urgh scary news... hope i don´t have to flash to play Tekken 6, i´m still on 1.4 or something like that, have to patch every game, costed me like 40 eus to get my console flashed 2 years ago, but if it has to be flashed again i try it myself, heard it´s not that hard... but still troublesome....

No doubt. The simple fact of the matter is that if there were not people out there who offered such a service then the reality would be that there would be far less flashed 360's out there able to take advantage of the benefits of having a hacked firmware.
Now, that would be sad.

it´s a benq, buyed a xbox360 opening tool a few months ago for 2-3 eus, hope i don´t have to buy another sata card, depending on that i might try it... i need all my money 4 pot^^
but i feel a patch coming... saving me from all this trouble

Come on now, I can only read so much replies of "OMG NO ONE KNOWS ANYHING ITS ALL FOR NOTHING LOLOLOL" before I get tired of this... lol. Especially you Glottis.
It's true, no one knows exactly how they ban. But we don't know NOTHING either. These are the cleverest guys working on this stuff to try and beat MS at their own game, and they're doing a fucking nice job at it so far.
So don't say 1.6 is a false sense of security just because we don't know EXACTLY how safe it is. The iextreme guys aren't wasting their time with blind guesses, they are onto certain things and still exploring others.
It's obvious some of the precautions people take regarding backups are blatantly working. Halo ODST bad rip was an excellent example. Stephen Toulouse was all over those people immediately because that copy went against all common sense regarding backups. And most people KNEW IT, that's why we a lot of us didn't run that copy.
So cut the shit, telling people their dumb for taking precaution, or that upgrading hacked fw is a guess or a bad idea, or any of that shit.
We don't know it all, but we know a lot.

How about the possibility that this Cars game is just a bad rip and that the 4th wave is just a rumour?
I think that when MS would introduce the 4th wave, they would have done it with Forza 3. One of the biggest releases of the year and not with Cars...
