Gotta love how everyone here is happy to talk about when 360 version of games look and run better than PS3, but god forbid someone mentions PC version looking better ...
And yes, MW2 one consoles won't be 720p it's been confirmed by the devs. I'm not sure what exact res they will use this time.

Why not read the posts above you? It's been stated many times that it will be the same resolution as MW1 which is 600p (1024x600)

last one looked fine to me, also a PC is not a set hardware configuration like a console so it should always look better on PC if the time and care is taken. I think everybody knows this

I thought MW1 looked fine, and played great.
Why attempt to fix a good thing?
The videos show MW2 is going to look great on console anyway, and sitting infront of my large TV using my 360 pad beats PC for me.
Plus, I cba to spend the £hundreds required to get a PC up to spec... and then patch, and get things running properly, etc.zzzzzzz

Seriously, who cares about comparing them? MW1 looked mind blowing at the time and played to perfection.
MW2 will look amazing for it's time as well. Who cares about comparing to to anything, all versions will look fantastic, goddamn. ;p

People with multiple gaming platforms do care. That's the beauty of owning more than 1 platform, you can choose the best version of the game.

What Hfric says is full of shit, but so is the first part of your post. Outdated in 6 months? 3 year old cards can play [well made] multiplatform games just fine at better resolution than the consoles, which as apparent with this game and others, can't even keep up with the most significant selling point of this generation of consoles - HD gaming (if we call 720p "HD"). You seem to rage when people generalize against console players, but don't you do the same whenever you post that same sentence (I have seen it numerous times, and I don't look that often in this section)? |
