It's quite possible that it's you who failed by answering the questions wrongly.

I mean it got Frank Fontaine, and Raziel from Legacy of Kain which I thought was quite impressive. It also correctly guessed some obscure scientists that I didn't expect it to have in it's database.

But I lol'd when I found out it didnt have Dr. Nicholas Rush from Stargate Universe so I added him. But I accidentally got that one wrong: "does he play the role of a doctor?" I clicked yes, but I guess since he's not a medical doctor the answer should be no. I guess it will correct itself if enough people input the right answer.

I found out that many people I showed it to also failed some games, but it was just because they answered wrong without knowing. They blamed it on the game ofcourse, but in the end you just have to know enough about the person...
It also knows many side characters from series, this is really great ^^

I did a search for my avatar Dominar Rygel XVI and it found him 2 of 3 times, the one miss being a very close call. Total 75 times played.
And it had the Lemmings from the videogames as 4th choice after not many questions didnt expect that.

he still doesn't "play" any role. nicholas Rush IS the character. Not the actor playing a character.

The formulation of the question is interpretable but it definitely means "is the character a doctor?", which is still not very clear
This question mostly comes after "char is not real" and "from a tv-show" answers, it spits out various doctors like that beau from Grey's and if the genie asks for sci-fi too, you always get Dr. Beckett from Atlantis.
