Stupid 2k with their bugs, I hope we see a new engine next time.

BTW, I can confirm that using Creative ALchemy removed all the stuttering I had with the game, and all audio issues are fixed, so thanks to the one posted here!

The game runs overall slightly worse (5-10fps) than the 2K9 version and the old
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_1 = 1 trick doesn't work anymore for dualcores.
Not a big problem though, since the framerate is always high enough to have a perfect experience. (I suggest you to enable vsync, it hugely improves smoothness)

If I'm not mistaken, Michael Jordan has made quite a name for himself and he's licensed as a name, a player and a persona, so I'm guessing that for 2K or any other company to include him in their basketball games would take a huge licensing fee. Not to worry, modders always get around to adding him in the game in the end.

I think that MJ said that he doesn't want to appear in any computer games any more.
BTW 20 D-league games and counting, lol. Averaging slightly over 30p, 5 r per game. Got cut 3 times already and signed by the same D-league team. I think I'll start again and try to survive the camp. It is going to be hard though. I averaged pretty much the same in the Lakers camp, fucking owned Artest (I am a SF) in every game (i think he was 1/11 from the field in the game after which I was cut) and still got cut.

Yes... 2K probably didn't count on so many pirates to play online.

Installed fine here on Win 7 x64, just ignore the message about 1.1 framework at start and it installs fine. |
Maybe someone could help me out here; why am I seeing the "the verison of this file is not compatiable with the verison of Windows you are running" when using the setup.exe? I'm on Win 7 x64. Am I missing something?

Framework 1.1 is very old, and there may be some compatibility with Windows 7. It just tells you that. I think one of the service packs fixes all compatibility issues, so don't worry, there are no compatibility issues with Windows 7 and NBA 2K10.

I am pretty sure the framework isn't the issue. Isn't 3.5 default with Win 7 x64 anyway?
I'm sure I'm just missing some lame step, but here is what I am seeing...

Each Framework (1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0) is independent of the other. So if you have something compiled for 1.1, it will not work with 3.5 unless compiled for 3.5.
What EXE are you trying to run before getting that message?

I had a similar problem, I just unpacked the iso again and it worked.
If not- then it's most likely a broken download.

setup.exe after mounting the iso.
I'm downing the release again to see if it is in fact an unpacking issue.

I've been using MagicIso since making the switch to Win 7 x64 because Daemon didn't have a update version.
When I said unpacking, I was talking about unraring the iso.

Well, I'm used to getting proper RAR files, where there are no problems. So I thought they were using some crappy tool to extract the ISOs.

Daemon Tools works fine in Win7 now.
Just download the latest SPTD from http://www.duplexsecure.com and then install DTools
