Of course Risen is waaaaaaaay better, because your character can jump from high places and DIE!

There's this large cave complex outside of the forest before you go down to Harbor Town, near a lake with a few ruin pillars and a hang bridge, trough it is a lot of knomes and a quest related tomb - so avoid it initially - and afterwards you get to the eastern side of the Island near a hut where two hunters live with their pet wolf, there's a bridge over to a smaller island here, cross over and kill the 30 or so gnomes here, avoid the Ashbeast and perhaps even Thunder Lizard initially if you are to weak and you should find two or perhaps it was three obsidian deposits to mine, avoid the ruins here as well since they're related to a quest that ties to the main story line.

Return with enough ore and gold - gold lumps actually mined from other places or purchased from certain traders - along with a Lizardman sword, you'll get those near the start of chapter 2, to the smith in the upper quarter of Harbor town and he should allow you to create Obsidian weapons, longsword first, then bastard sword and in chapter three you can get a two-hander that deals about 90 damage but it needs more gold lumps and obsidian ore so don't waste them on lower-end gear if you are going for the two-hander.

As soon as you encounter your first Lizardman, which yeah - is in Chapter 3, you get the quest to obtain Obsidian Weapons.

As for the Harbour Town TP stone? It depends what path you chose. If you're with the Don, Delgado - the thief - will give you one.

From what I've read Sirco or what his name was should have it, unless you killed him, main guy on the Don's side in the little hideout under the bordello, should be able to talk to him and ask for a quicker way similar to how you can ask the Inquisitor and get the first stone, maybe Carlos has it for the Order path.

In what way are the Obsidian swords shit? So far the best swords of any categories are Obsidian and i'm a bit into Chapter 4.

If you consider Obsidian swords to be the best, then you've obviously just rushed through the game and not found any of the Unique items, nor - since you're on Chapter 4 - any of the Titan weapons (not Titan LORD, just Titan)

Even during Chapter 2, before you gain access to Obsidian weapons, I had unique weapons that pissed all over the Obsidian stuff.

Care to share on what those weapons might be? Yes i did find a Titan Sword (bastard) and it did outshine the Obsidian Bastard sword, however when i found it i had already switched to a 2h which was better than the Titan.
As for some of the unique weapons i found i got Souldrinker, Stormwind, Runesword, Aric's Sword and the Titan sword, i've had some others but sold 'em off because they were nowhere near the dmg of the Obsidians. And i feel as if i've been going trough every single part of the island so i wouldn't say i rushed trough it either so any tips on where those better weapons would be are appreciated.

I no longer have the game installed, but by the time I had Obsidian weapons (Bastard and 2H, since the 1H wasn't worth it) I had Axes and two other unique Swords, not including the Titan weapons - like Titan Wing, which offers considerably higher damage than Obsidian - even the Obsidian 2H

I mean what happened next? What's the point of all that fighting if the only part of the world that survived was that island? What's with all the started plots that had no conclusion whatsoever (the feud between the Don's men & the Inquisitors men) What happened with Patty? Did they get a hookup or what?

While the boss-fight was pretty nice looking it was still much too easy. I did it in my first attempt, so when everything became a black screen it was really anti-climactic. I was ready for Act V, I wanted to know what happened to all the lizards, I wanted to finish them off.
