Nope, Cid doesn't talk to me at all, and Phil can't teach me anymore. |

I guess I'm the only one still waiting for a crack before trying this game?! What about that house teleport bad trigger you talked about earlier?
Anyway, guess I'm better waiting for a few patchs anyway.

I guess so, lol. The Clone and/or Mini-Image seems to work fine for most everyone. As for the house teleporting, it's not a trigger - it's a bug, supposedly. Since it only happened to me in one area, out of 50hrs+ play time, I choose to interpret it as a gameplay element
As far as waiting for patches goes; I honestly don't see why. This game is most definitely out of the norm, considering the near-perfect state it's been released in. Handful of bugs, most you won't even notice, and a couple that seem to affect some people - and one that is potentially devastating (Monastery quest, if accomplished in a different order than normal, MAY result in the game being stalled)

I had a problem with walking through a doorway and being teleported to the floor above, fixed it by walking through the door backwards.

Hehe I had that one too. But I transformed to a snail, then it was no problem walking through the door |
I just walked sideways.
Anyway, I did have a bug, which was pretty annoying - somehow I joined more than one faction at the same time (finished all the necessary quests for both parties, the game never stopped me). As a result, most NPCs threw a coin to figure out how to react to me, while some particularly stubborn actually said dialog lines for both factions
Also, after you choose a faction you can't train above level 7 in other faction's skills..so I was raped on all sides here because as far as skills were concerned, I was from the "other" faction for the trainers. Ended up using a trainer for getting the swords from 8 (with a ring) to 10...wasn't really a cheat anyway since I had 80 learning points left unused.

Dunge; I'm waiting with you as well. I can't get DTPro installed somehow...If it hasn't been cracked I'll probably just buy it by the end of next week...
Note to self: come up with a good sig.

No for the barriers you need a special rune or scroll. Master Cyrus is supposed to be by the druid's hut - if you ask him, he'll open the barrier for you.

You can get Workers Clothes (10 in all def stats) from Don's Camp or Order Robes (10 in all def stats) from the Monastery. The rest you get as you rise in ranks for your chosen side.

Sorry, but yeah; swords only. I've not seen any way of crafting armour/weapons other than Swords and Rings/Amulets.
