Saw represents everything that's wrong with movies. A completely crappy movie, with even worse acting, and very little gore (should have been rated pg) ... and I'm supposed to forget about all this because of a twist ending? Not to mention that it was so similar to the vastly superior Seven.

I stand by my judgment that Saw does indeed suck balls. Surprised

The twist was similar to the twist in Seven ?
If you think so I start to doubt you even seen "saw"...

About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.

Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

hahe: bingo.

Although the twist that was in Seven was much better and much more plausible. I'm actually waiting for the uncut dvd of Saw to come out .... maybe some added gore will redeem it a little. I can look past a lot of crap for good gore. I mean c'mon ... you never even got to see him actually saw his foot off. And then his pant leg even covers the stump. Ever seen Takeshi Miike's Audition? They don't shy away from showing you people getting their foot taken off Laughing

I will give Saw one good scene .... when the girl has to pull the key out of that dude's stomach ... I liked that Wink

I really enjoyed Saw. One of my favorites of the year. But although of course Seven is better. That's on my top 10.

Saw like many movies with a low budget tend to get shoddy actors and crappy sets.

As a first movie it was decent; visually.

Acting sucked
Script sucked (i mean who is calm the moment he wakes up in a bathtub and makes a witty comment “and I wake up in an actual shithole”Shocked)
The sets; though limited offered a grim feel so meh

And the twist blew. The killer 'jigsaw' loves to specate his victims as they are tortured. That's great but in this movie he was entirely face down, couldn't see shit, couldn't do shit and I’m pretty sure if the doctor was a real doctor he would have noticed the 'dead' guy breathing. IF you are faced down and breathe… people can see your body move! :/

also the twist was remotely predictable when the one of the main characters went; "I've never seen a dead body before, they look totally different in real life" - though it may not seem like much it's a dead give away in this type of a movie.

Then they showed how the doctor communicated with his patients and some students.

That’s BIG.

Zep and the ‘patient’ were insulted… Shocked

I mean the whole movie was filled with foreshadowing and such.

But it’s not a BAD movie.

Maybe the sequel will get enough funds to hire good actors Very Happy

hey give me money... get me actors... set designers and I’ll make you a movie...

Fuck... any dipshit can write a script... the dialogue is important... the details are important that is all you need... I’m sure I can conjure a nice twisted fairy tale for you… maybe even a script Shocked

I may not be an awesome writer but i sure as hell can make up dialogue that is a lot better than
“how did you get here?”
"I don't know I fell a sleep in my shithole apartment and I woke up in an actual shithole"

Then later you see the guy being abducted Shocked

THAT IS FUCKING BULL SHIT! He talks about one thing an another thing happens :/ I’m sure I can make something up that doesn’t have a lot of fuck ups.

I think that this isn´t as bad as you say. Interesting plot, ok actors, gore and nice ending (predictable yes, but not so happy anyway)...It reminds, that you can do a excellent flick without spending millions of dollars to cg or fuel-explosions... Very refreshing experience, highly recommended!!!

Wait for the sequel then

It will have a bigger budget and top-shot Hollywood actors/actresses and bigger sets.

Now just so you know where I’m getting at;
The matrix was on a low budget too
It did well
Very well

Studios gave more money for reloaded and revolutions
And you know how they ended up Laughing

No offence, but if someone like you would direct a movie with actors like Al Pacino, De Niro, Penn etc... this movie would have as bad acting as Saw did Wink

80% of the acting is coming from the director not the actors Wink

Yeah look at 'the' passion Laughing
Very Happy

And no if I were to make an action movie acting wouldn't be necessary! High octane explosions, car chases, gun battles and some witty one liners Very Happy SO THERE A BLOCKBUSTER!

And besides I’m sure you wouldn't do any better Laughing

You'd make ballistics: ecks vs sever look Oscar worthy Shocked

I'm sorry but you shouldn't say stuff like "like you can do better" because that is truly ignorant!

It means that YOU should ONLY review/critique movies that you can do better than and that is pure bullshit. Roger Ebert would be out of a job! Laughing THINK OF ROGER EBERT !!!!

You LOVED saw when it came out. You were AMAZED by it. It is no wonder you would defend such a movie but sometimes you have to realize that you should not let taste be the main reason for you argument because opinions will be spawned and sometimes opinions hurt more than simple name calling. Rolling Eyes Wink Smile and Laughing

And hey you’re big movie buff… you LOVE movies… so should know what makes a good movie and what makes a BAD movie. But sometimes people make mistakes it makes us unique.

Hahaahhahahaha… fuck it:D

Yes and No, stupid of me to say 80% doesnt it ? Smile Maybe 50% then...
Imagine some Speilberg directing Saw. Do you think they acting would be as bad as it was with James Wan directing ? I bet no.
Can u imagine Al Pacino in a Albert Pyun movie ? u think his acting would be oscar like ? Very Happy
