anyone know's if this game will be forgiven with the player when it comes to player damage?
the first op.f was kind of revolution for it's time imo, graphic was great and the gameplay was realistic..i remember a truck that took me and my squad to the fire zone and a tank noticed are present and started to fire and killed all my man and i remember me runing into the woods and the audio was:"i am all alone now" and the heart bits were high...feels like the reality..the fear of the war and the enemy.
if this one will be half good=i am very very happy:)

Been playing the game for a while, it works great, can only complain on one thing though, when crouching around your char can get stuck, and tilts up and down sometime, quite annoying but other than that ive been enjoying playing so far.
Oh one more thing, driving vehicles is crappy, real crappy steering, arma was way better i think...
Going to sleep :=) hope you guys get the game soon, its a nice one

So just wondering if you can like adjust that russian to english as often gamedev will have multi language releases to save on having to have so many unique gold discs.

Nah, this is Russian only release not multi.
Well, you could always edit the Russian release after the English version leaks. Just copy over the language files and that should do it. So you could always download the Russian release now and check it out. Personally I'm just gonna wait for the English...should be out later tonight or tomorrow.

The game is hardcore. Was sneaking for 10 minutes, got bored so killed one dude, and all of the sudden dudes are everywhere and freaking attack choppers rocketing me to hell. Got pissed and quit, will try it later. Guess they dont fuck around when they say try to sneak around.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

Here are some. Very limited options in terms of graphics, the only ones I found were AA which is set to 8x on mine, resolution, vsync, and brightness. Aiming feels a bit floaty, and the command wheel is an annoyance. No way to give quick commands in the heat of the battle, you have to stop and bring up the wheel and then look for the commands while being shot at.

I'm sure they will add some shortcuts in (hope). Anyway textures appear to be pretty low detail for terrain objects.. hmm hard to believe there are no graphics settings but fsaa.

I take it back, there is another window for graphic settings, you have to press F1 to go there. here are a few pics with now everything on high, tbh I didnt see much difference, even though i set textures on high.
Edit: On the first set of images, everything was on medium and no texture filtering.

Looks better however it appears 16x texture aliasing isn't set which will get rid of the horrible distal texture blur. Maybe needs to be forced on?
