Looks very good! Voice acting is bad, though, as was in ARMA 1&2.

BTW, this is the DIRT engine, so don't be surprised if it is possible to get on a Subaru and do a Ken Block near the airport. Laughing

Looks like a mix of BIA + OPF + ARMA, not bad at all.

http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/103/1031302p1.html IGN review 8.1 Wink

Quote:
Nearly all of the problems though, and particularly the ones relating to squad orders, disappear when you're playing co-operatively; co-op makes Dragon Rising a delight.
The entire campaign can be played through with the entire squad of four being controlled by players. The squad leader issues optional commands, but with headsets on, the game becomes much more fun and fluid. Frankly, there's probably far more fun to be had here just finding three friends and playing the entire game through that way.

Oddly for this type of game, you don't have any choice in terms of the weaponry you tote or even the specialists your squad is made up of. But while the load-out system may be stripped down in comparison to some military shooters, once you're out in the wild, Operation Flashpoint 2 shines.

No sniper fights anymore unless the programmer decided so? Sad

OFP:DR -> little to no bugs
ARMA2 -> shitloads of bugs

HMMmmmmmm

Got to hand it to console ports, at least assure much better production values and more QA.

If so, no serial? WOW now that's a console port that I like

No, we played three players and one AI. Why i have the retail copy is that i work at a computer store and we got the game today, but can´t sell it until release 8th. The shipment arrived today and we were allowed to buy one copy for each employee. And the three of us are work collegues.

And yes, we played LAN not over internet, however one of us plays over hamachi.

EDIT: moosenoodles What info do you want?

As i sayd before, there is NO cd requirement so far, BUT i have not tried to play on internet since you need to create an account and the ONLY thing my employee requires when we buy early releases is that we do not play it on internet nor creating any type of account until release date.

1. No cd key so far that i know of, looked through the manual, box, disc, nothing.
2. Ive already wrote about the protection, it was some securerom 7.4x, if you want a screenshot of it i can fix that.
3. No trouble joining coop on lan or playing, it runs as a charm
