How is this game's story? I lke story-driven RPGs (Mass Effect) i don't like the ones that are basically only a bunch of "assignments" after another (Neverwinter nights...)

The game is awesome.
The pickpocketing is ingenious, not so much regarding the gameplay mechanics, but more as a great implementation within the world and story.

The swordfighting is what's worrying me. The Order guys seem to stress the staff fighting thing.

I tried the demo.exe to see if it would crack it.........NOPE!

Can I be swordfighter AND join the inquisition? Or do I absolutely have to use a staff when I'm a warrior of the order?

I think you're right to worry. I'm playing sword-fighter for the Inquisitors, and so far the only trainers that can teach me have been in Harbour City. The problem with that is that Edgar, or whatever he's called, don't seem able to train me above level 7 or so. The other sword-trainer, Cutter, won't even talk to me since I screwed him over in a quest.
At this point I've pretty much given up hope in advancing my sword-skill any further.

There's a thread about enabling console over at cheathappens forums, but those dorks have tagged it for unlimited members only (doubt anyone here is unlimited member).
Of course, you could just alter the number values (skill points, money) with CheatEngine - won't help you to get items or skills tho.
