I had more fun blowing stuff up in Mercs 2 than Red faction guerilla.. Kinda off-topic but still, after mercs 1 and 2 they should be able to make this one work, looks good.

Sandbox pisses me of as of late, if you make such a game driving should be better, like GTA, and the map should be more interesting with different stuff to do then just going from mission to mission, like GTA, otherwise sandbox doesn't make a lot of sense. Driving looks bad here.
Especially if the sandbox is made by EA (Godfather) my expectations are not going to be high.

Yeah, exactly, driving sessions are very similar to the godfather II ones, and this is clearly a bad thing. I like sandbox games in general, but this still looks overall too cheap and rough to be really interesting. We'll see if it will be improved, or not.

Did you even see the second part pf the video ? He talked about how you could do stuff on the map that was not "missions"... And they could even affect the real missions later on.

Not exactly what I meant, of course there will be side-missions every sandbox has them, I meant an interesting and living city and a diverse map otherwise the game could have been structured like an ordinary linear game that at one point lets you pick a mission or side-mission (think Call of Juarez 2, you have that choice to go hunt some bad guys for money or continue with the story, the game is not sandbox) |

I honestly can't wait for this game. Looks frigging awesome. I love the setting and that cutesy colorful European countryside in a sandbox game is just so lovely.

When I saw this thread bumped I was expecting to see news about this game being delayed for PC or something like. Nice trailer.
