I tried earlier today demo (its on live today), game is more mature than 2k9,
1) now you cant make crazy iso motion stuff while just swinging right stick in all possible directions while holding RT - if you try to do so 1) you loose ball 2) you struggle to control ball
2) You get rewarded for actually playing combinations to get free shots by passing (in contrast in 2k9 you could just easaly play with one player) - it is harder to make one on one shots
3) Graphics are improved (facial models) and no more framerate issues
demo lacked options of calling playes coachin etc. so no comment on that
however conclusion on demo is must have game

It was retarded online, watching one person score and beat a whole team with one person....

I stopped my download when I heard that it may be an early beta build that leaked to p2p and had no baskets/crowds. Has anyone actually tried the one on usenet?

I'm also curious about this release, just downloaded but not sure if i'm willing to risk a verbatim on it, where did you hear it's early build? i can't find any info on this release apart from it checks out on abgx program. Anymore info would be great help, anyone tried it?

Good jebus this game is amazing. I really hate playing the lakers though. Kobe is a monster, and I haven't figured out how to stop him yet lol. He can assist, defend, rebound, shoot (god from anywhere), and dunk at any time. They did calm Lebron down alot. You can't cheese with him like the last game because it seems like he can barely dribble the ball. In 2k9 you could just spin your way to the basket and get a monster jam. Now, if the lane is blocked off, if you spin once, you have a chance to lose the ball. I like that, but Kobe is a beast, and I dont think that will be changed for a long time lol.
I have to say, the Isomotion feels stiff. Players with great ball handling skills have a small chance to lose the ball if you dont move the right way. I can't wait till the season starts because the stats are all messed up. Right now, the lakers are the team to beat, and even a novice player can destroy a whole team by using Kobe. Once he gets hot, he can torch you from both sides of the court. I highly suggest making sure that you loosen up the settings of help defense against teams like the lakers who have great shooters that can spread the court.

i have a feeling Live10 will be better then 2k10..im no fanboy of either but im just saying. I think getting Mike Wang over to the live team will have a huge impact on the quality of live10.
My honest opinion..NBA2k10 feels like the same old same old besides the new gui. Its just a more polished up version of 2k9. I think VC is milking it way too long sorta like how madden did on the ps2 and original xbox days..you gotta keep the product fresh otherwise it starts to feel stale.
Im not saying 2k10 is bad..its good and solid but Live10 demo gave me that "fresh" feeling i want...

hahaha, did you have played both demos? Live 10 like all other live series is very static, playing it is like moving blocks... defense is notexisting,,,,

So far it's unplayable IMO. In NBDL, it's not about the fact that there's framerate dives, it's about the fact that it goes up and down from like 30 fps to 12 every 2 seconds you can't get used to anything. In Franchise/TeamVs.Team play it takes a dive everytime I post up! That's impossible to get used to.
So far, unplayable...

I installed to HDD right after I burnt it and so far didnt see any issues like that. Should I try anything special ? Or is it just during the standard My Player games ?

you should try being EA fanboy, then different issues will start to appear, and you will see some 5 people in room with you as well...

Apparently the NBA.2K10.RF.MULTi5-XBOX360 was nuked. I downloaded it yesterday bu8 after seeing that it was nuked on abgx I deleted it. I guess soon enough there will be an official release

NBA.2K10.RF.MULTi5-XBOX360 does this mean it was still nuked or is it OK to download. Damn, its a shame the NBA Live 2010 game is not region free

So, is the NBA 2k10 that is on abgx(yesterday it had a nuke icon on it) is it good cause I deleted it from my computer since everyone yesterday was saying it was nuked..damn this sucks, I want NBA Live 2010 too but its looking like its not region free
