The scorpions are regular in one of the caves.
I still have no idea how to join mages, as there is the don, inquisitors and then the supposedly neutral mages. Talking to the mage in harbour city only leads me to working for inquisitors. It seems like I have to actualy get captured and work in the monastery to become a mage? Or is it a palladin then? Seriously, I'm not gonna replay this for a 3rd time.

^ I think at some point when discussing the White Robes (perhaps with the farm owner before Harbor Town?) he mentioned how at some point you can choose whether you want the warrior or mage training.

Guys, please, I'm going nuts here with some quests. Can anyone please help me? 
| Spoiler: | 1. I can't find that "Wisdom in Combat" book anywhere, although I'm not exactly sure that it's really a book. I searched trough the library, but no luck.
2. I got that quest with Sirius and...the other guy that had to gather herbs for the master. I found Sirius at that farm, and the other one was dead in the forest. I looted his body, then went back, but neither Sirius or the master are talking, so I guess the quest isn't done. So I went back into the forest, and the body is gone. What should I do here?! Is it a bug? |

P.S. How can u read lists in the inventory? Like the herbs list or something.

Monastery catacombs, just straight of the training ground there is a guy blocking your way there.

Look in your log-book, click the tab for "Trainers" They're all listed there and will even show on the Quest Map view as well.

| Spoiler: | If you go to tildas farm, where the road bends and goes into the forest theres a boar and behind that theres some gnomes, behind them theres a small hill, next to the waterfall and the bridge, Krayban is up on that hill.

Have you met him yet? (sorry, should have been more specific) If you're in the Bandit Camp, you'll find him (I believe it's Phil) walking around near the Weed Farm at the top of the hill.
I don't know about others just yet, as I'm not in the city.

The installer to this game _really_ fucked up my SSD's.. it's installed to d:\games\deep silver\risen but it cant be seen there (though it is possible to start it from game explorer in Win7), and there are now 2 maps called "games" on the d: drive (theoretically impossible). One is the real map and the other some strange copy of the other that can't be deleted, it's like 2Gb while the other is 73gb. Fuck, guess its time to format.

There is noone by that name at the swamp, I checked everyone in there, besides the ruins the Don is in.

well ive played 1 hour soo far , very nice gameplay and graphics , all in maximum and no slowdown , i have a 2.2 dual core ,3 giga ram , a 9800 gtx+ and running on windows 7.very nice , dont understand why is people complaining about game perfomance.
