I just think it's funny that when a PC version of a multiplat game doesn't have PC-specific UI, there is hooting and hollering and raving about how horrible it is, and at the same time, when the developer boasts that they are making sure to have platform-specific UI, PC gamers get all smug about "well of course, lazy ass piece of shit developers!."
Bitching either way. PC gamers love to bitch, it's just a sad, pathetic part of the fandom.

The official site's been revamped for the release, pretty sweet even tho I don't normally like flash sites that much.

That's your evidence? Some random dude posting on a gearbox forum? I also saw several other posts on the gearbox forums pasting quotes from elsewhere saying that it was a GFWL title. I haven't seen official word either way though. Doesn't matter for me though. I lost the emails with the two club keys I had long ago. Only ever registered gears of war and uninstalled it the next day.
(although I tend to agree with you that it's not GFWL since there's no logo at the bottom of the webpage)

Quote: | Shack: With Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, I can get an idea as to how the multiplayer setup will work on consoles. But what about PC? Is Gearbox doing its own thing there? Games for Windows Live?
Mikey Neumann: We are doing our own thing. It's gonna be lobby-based, we're trying to keep it as close to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 [offerings] as possible. We want to make sure that everyone can play our game and have fun, it's gonna be a slightly simpler lobby, we still have all the options you have on the other ones. Maybe more, PC people like their options. We're gonna try to keep it as close as possible. |

This is absolutely the best combo: visit something* in Barca, crazy sex and then borderlands to relax, and continue the cycle.
*= something interesting for your wife.
