I think it is more like what rampart translated it to. Trust me. There are some big games coming out this year on both console and PC and I am sure they will sell just fine here in the US.

So, is it safe if i play this offline(and stay offline, i suppose), until the official rls date? Never played a game before the official rls date, that's why i'm asking.

Well i've just given it a crack:
The controls are horrid, the right analog stick is ultra sensitive to the point of ridiculous with no option for adjusting it. They have made A and B button for attack and parry which means you can't change the view while blocking?? Why didn't they use the triggers?
I'll give more impressions after playing some more.

Ugh, if you were to play this through on the 360 you would hope they are gonna patch these controls. You can't navigate though items with the d-pad!
The game is soo dark why is there no gamma-setting?
I for one will wait for the PC version this game is not console friendly.

Yes if you like the gothic series. It has weird controls, but I've decided to give it one more try, because I like the atmosphere. I highly recommend this to fans of the gothic series... |

. there is no gamma options sereously wtf where they thinking?? I'd play this game on pc but not sure if it will work on my ati 9200.
